I found all LC pads to be the least durable when compared to Hex, Sonax, Scholl and Optimum pads.

Best Paint Coating (looking for opinions)

Opti coat is said to be the most durable in terms of mar resistance. CQuartz seems to have better water behavior. Not sure if Artdeshine coatings are available where you are but they have some very interesting coatings that are very popular in Europe right now. Max Protect UNC-R is the only...

    Optimum Compound & Polish = M105 & M205?

Thanks for sharing. I thought Optimum claimed its polishes are water based and you don't even need an IPA wipe down prior to applying Opti Coat. If what you are saying is correct, there should be a lot of Opti Coat failures or at least complaints that the fillers washed off after the coating...

Is rotary "danger" overblown? DA necessary?

I work only with a rotary. I burnt paint on scrap panels while learning during the initial days. Haven't had any issues since then. Using polishes like a Sonax Perfect Finish, I finish as good if not better than what a DA may be able to do.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield Quick test

PNS will surprise you with its water behavior and anti static properties. There isn't another sealant that even comes close to it today in terms of self cleaning properties.

    Optimum Compound & Polish = M105 & M205?

I know M105/205 is the most popular polish combination ever but for some strange reason I never got on with M105. It dusted like crazy and when I tried the Optimum Compound, it took me by surprise as there was no dust, it was so much easier & the polish stayed clear while working. Plus a breeze...

First Impression: Optimum Microfiber Polishing Pads

The Optimum Hyper Compound & the Optimum MF Compounding pad are a fantastic combination. Surprisingly, it cuts faster than a foam cutting pad while leaving way less footprint than a foam pad.

    Does ONR alter the LSP?

We are talking about super hydrophobic sealants like Sonax PNS. I would use the Sonax Brilliant Shine detailer after the monthly wash and the sheeting/beading would be epic, something not seen with traditional waxes and sealants. The only alternative that I can think of is either use the Sonax...

    Does ONR alter the LSP?

Does ONR alter the LSP? Hi Mike, I have been doing rinse less and water less washes for a long time without any problems. I use ONR, UWW+, CG HFE, DG RW etc. However, lately I have started using the nano sealants and coating that are extremely hydrophobic, they repel water and dirt to a...

A drying towel pre sprayed with diluted ONR is the safest way to try a car, this side of a leaf blower.

meguiars d-156 synthetic express spray wax

I find to be be useless and a waste of time. It has pathetic durability and looks flat. Try Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer instead. No spray wax or sealant beads better, looks better or lasts longer.

Mini review - SONAX Nano Technology Liquid Wax

I am planning to try this wax, are there any recent updates? Anybody else tried it lately? The Sonax HPT technology is getting a lot of attention in UK lately.

ONR or UWW as waterless wash?

Is it possible to just stick to UWW for all jobs then and not buy any ONR? Also, while we are discussing these two; is UWW simply the best waterless wash out there? I heard Pinnacle launched one recently and CG has something called EcoSmart. I have to say I was blown by the cleaning power of CG...
