Thanks for sharing. I thought Optimum claimed its polishes are water based and you don't even need an IPA wipe down prior to applying Opti Coat. If what you are saying is correct, there should be a lot of Opti Coat failures or at least complaints that the fillers washed off after the coating...

I work only with a rotary. I burnt paint on scrap panels while learning during the initial days. Haven't had any issues since then. Using polishes like a Sonax Perfect Finish, I finish as good if not better than what a DA may be able to do.

PNS will surprise you with its water behavior and anti static properties. There isn't another sealant that even comes close to it today in terms of self cleaning properties.

The Optimum Hyper Compound & the Optimum MF Compounding pad are a fantastic combination. Surprisingly, it cuts faster than a foam cutting pad while leaving way less footprint than a foam pad.

A drying towel pre sprayed with diluted ONR is the safest way to try a car, this side of a leaf blower.

I find to be be useless and a waste of time. It has pathetic durability and looks flat. Try Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer instead. No spray wax or sealant beads better, looks better or lasts longer.
