Hey guys how critical is it to use tufshine tire cleaner before applying the tufshine clear coat. I kinda cheaped out and got wolfgang tire and wheel cleaner instead so that I could continue to use it in the future. Can I make it work? After reading more I see I should stay tuned for my answer.

I wonder what can I expect from the hand sponge that comes with the flyby 30 kit. On my good car, I only need to get rid of water marks or the windshield wiper print. On my beater I have wiper scratches. Maybe I will only use the DA and Carpro pads on the wiper scratches and tackle the wiper...

Hey gusy looking to do some glass polishing. not trying to spend a whole lot of money, no more than 40-50. In my cart right now I have carpro ceriglass kit and carpro rayon glass polishing pads. I have a HF DA and 3' backing plate. Is it worth throwing in a coating?

Went ahead and painted my mirror bases. Duplicolor trim paint. Came out Very perfect.

I passed by this at Kroger and instantly thought to come here for the low down. I have WG trim sealant. Didn't last too long. Second application didn't last at all. Prepped with alcohol wipe down.

I did use the DA machine with the swirl remover. All of my LSP was applied by hand. Are you saying apply LSP with the polisher as well? Think I will tape of a section and retry with IPA this time. BUT I'd definitely like to rule out the wobble in the mis installed backing plate and walking...

2.9" backing plate, 3" pad.Maybe thats the problem? I see I missed a question. The polisher is a HF polisher. Could not using the correct pattern cause this? This looks pretty bad. Lol.

The trunk was clayed some time ago before. I washed with dial dish detergent. and went right to it, badges on with 3" orange-WG swirl remover.-> meg. nxt, by hand, and then pinnacle soveran by hand. I didn't/couldn't maintain a decent cross hatch pattern.

So I've recently corrected my car from a hack job. Good on the sides roof and hood with a 6" pad. I ordered a 3" pad to do the trunk since it is tighter spacing. After using the soap blaster at drive in washes the soap seems to be harsh and removed my work as I didn't confirm with IPA before...

So they must have wised up and changed their clear. most Niss/Fini are soft.
