    Product clogging drying towels

Thanks for the responses guys. Now I'm starting to go back to old threads and read rinseless comparisons. For any long time users of UWW+ or ONRWW, has it affected your drying towel?

    Product clogging drying towels

I've seen a few threads mentioning that using a spray wax as a drying aid can clog the drying towels with product. I'm currently using ONR and haven't noticed any issues yet. I was thinking about moving to ONRWW and was curious to know the waxes in ONRWW had the potential to clog a drying towel.

anyone. roof micro pitting after long term care?

I see it on both of my cars. 2002 VW passat in silver and a 2010 BMW in grey. It's sad and confusing why it would break down like that. On both of my cars it seems to be most noticeable on the roof.

How often do you clean your tires?

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I just wanted to see how others viewed this car washing step. I don't have a coating for my tires. I'm using Sonax tire dressing. It works well for me and in the past lasted a good month or so before getting faded. I was originally using the soft...

How often do you clean your tires?

How often do you guys clean your tires? I try to do a maintenance wash every week or 2 and I was wondering if it was counter intuitive to always scrub clean my tires with OPC and apply a tire dressing. Should I reduce it to once a month? Maybe only clean it once the dressing doesn't look...

New White Wheels - Keeping Them Clean (Optimum products)

You might have some issues applying it with the dual sided applicator. The neoprene side is a little more rigid and will be harder to manipulate around the edges. You can use the yellow foam pads. I would also try out some make up sponges.

Anything else I can do to save these wheels?

Just wanted to provide an update. I cleaned 2 wheels today with OPC at 3:1 and 2 with meguiar's wheel brightener at 4:1 ratio. Overall, the OPC did an impressive job and was able to get rid of more than just the sonax the last time I washed the wheels. While the wheel was cleaner, with OPC...

Anything else I can do to save these wheels?

Wanted to give a big thanks to jarred767 for letting me sample some wheel brightener. It's been raining for the past few days but as soon as it stops I'll try it out and post results. This community is awesome!

Anything else I can do to save these wheels?

Thanks for the tips guys. This car is going to be my daily driver so I'm not trying to spend any money refinishing or repainting the wheels. The poor boys sounds interesting but it mentions not being safe to use on unfinished wheels. Will the curb rash be a problem? In the meanwhile I will...

Anything else I can do to save these wheels?

Yeah, they are aluminum alloys according to the manufacturer. I guess its time to look into the wheel brightener. Hoping I can find it in smaller quantities. A gallon is too much.

Anything else I can do to save these wheels?

I'm starting to clean a used car I recently acquired. It has been sitting around for the last 5 years without a wash. The wheels are OEM and were very brown from the years of sitting. I first attacked it with some ONR but it wasn't working fast enough. I then hit it with some OPC at 10:1...

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

After using this, I have to say it is an upgrade from the previous 97 cent specials. The wider mouth is nice and the spray trigger is better. At the end of the day I think I will continue getting the Autozone bottles because their spray triggers are more comfortable and have more control over...

You did a great job. Isn't FG400 a little aggressive for a new car though? Did it have a lot of swirling?

Retrofit MTM foam lance from gas to electric

Yeah, the hope was for a foam that had better cling. The stuff that comes out now will mostly drip off after 1 minute or so.

Retrofit MTM foam lance from gas to electric

I have no problems attaching it to my electric pressure washer. I just saw some reviews that showed the foam quality was better using the new version. In my experience, the foam i get is slightly better than the gilmour from the hose but not thick like some videos.

Retrofit MTM foam lance from gas to electric

I was wondering if it was possible to retrofit the old MTM foam lance intended for gas pressure washers to the new version intended for electric washers. I already own the gas version but didn't want to spend the money to buy another one.
