Couple of weeks ago I had the 3.5" backing plate come apart on me. The metal part with the rivets separated from the rest of the backing plated and flung my pad accross the garage. AG sent me out a new one so I'm good for now.

Being able to wash your car at any time of the day and not have to worry about drying your car and getting water spots is definately a good idea. I wonder how the filters will affect water pressure though.

Like Dan said keeping it perfect is a different story. Don't drive yourself crazy, its not worth it, I gave that up a while ago. Keep it as clean as you can, use good technique when washing and give a light polishing once maybe twice a year. Trust me you'll enjoy the car more if you're not so...

Haven't tried it yet personally but I've read nothing but positive comments on it. Until now I have only tried 1Z cockpit premium. There is a Superautobacs here in Orange Co. that carries the line so I might go pick some up when I run out of DG 901.
