^^^^I agree, boutique products are usually whay easier to use than OTC. However there are some OTC products that will work just as good as boutiques like car wash shampoos and tire dressings. Compounds, polishes and waxes, boutique is definately the whay to go IMO.

Yup, same here that works great. I put that stuff on all my electronics now and it really cuts down on the amount of dust they collect.

Just push it right off the car then, seriously. That's what I do. For me even microfiber won't pick up all of it. You can try some QD as well, sometimes a little moisture on the towel will help it pick up more dust. What compound are you using by the way? Maybe you should think about...

Yeah that's the one. I think its called Supreme Shine Microfiber towel. I would have to double check on that, but if it is then you actually can buy them separately. They run around six bucks or so, maybe a little pricey I don't know. Like I said its a actually a good towel, at least mine...

Meguiar's towels aren't bad. I have one that come with the clay kit and it seems just as good as the boutique ones IMHO.

I can't imagine a truck would be easier to detail than a car. They have more flat surfaces compared to a car which might be easier to work on but there is also a lot more surface area to work. As far as the new Tundra I think the front end looks kind of fuggly but it looks good from the side...
