+1 It sounds to me like too much was used for the spray and wipe and natty's red. Especially the red if that ghosts at a later date like that it's obvious it was applied too thick. when you apply it, it should be barely visable that you are applying Natty's Red and blue too.

Something to keep in mind. D151 doesn't play nice with certain waxes and sealants. I tried it with Fuzion and PB's Natty blue and it streaked like crazy. I have heard that M16 does play well with D151. I am dying to try the combo out to see what the durability is on that combo.

I like the idea Mike had withe adding M105 to D151 call it MD256. Once all the snow melts up here in NJ I will try it on a few practice cars to see how it turns out.

I know both 3M and PPG make a base black. IIRC they are the cheapest color you can get. I do know that it is a very deep black.

Re: Malita Rotary pad sizes I have both the Makita and the 3403. for a beginner i would go with the Makita hands down. The Makita is the slowest at it's lowest speed setting. As a beginner I have found the slowere you go the better you are it helps prevent holograms.

If you guys like PB's S&W and S&G try PB's QD+. The smell is incrediable and it leaves the paint noticibly slicker, plus it leaves a layer of wax. Keep in mind it can be a bit streaky but just let it sit for a while and hit it with S&W and the streakyness goes away.
