    Help with Poorboys products!

From what you have described I would have to say that you did not work the product long enough. It should end up with a clear haze that wipes off with almost no effort. Smearing is what leads me to believe that it was not worked enough. What speed were you running the PC? I usually spread...

    California duster

I have never washed my car duster. I am not planning to. But would certainly be interested in the out come of the little experiment. With pictures of before and after. Mine works so good that I find it hard to believe that washing would make it work as good.... much less better. Those...

    trades anyone?

Hey, I wish that I was in Texas now. I have a lot of Pinnacle and would gladly trade a bottle of Crystal Mist for Liquid Souveran. I will not be back until October I would think someone would cover you on this one. If not...think of me in the middle of October. I will send you 16 ounces for...

    Newbe Question

I know that you were not asking me specifically but I would definitely recommend Poorboy's over Pinnacle for the reasons that I have already stated. I have both. I use the Poorboy's products and the Pinnacle products are in a box stored in the attic.

    Newbe Question

I think that Neothin has given you a start on a stellar way to maintain your vehicle. Wash technique is the best way to avoid marring and maintain a swirl free vehicle. If I were to choose just one line of products I would choose Poorboy's since it has everything. They all work, easy to...

    Dusters - California VS OXO.

I have both. nthey both do an excellent job on dust. The selling pooint for me over the other is that the OXO has a handle that will not scratch compared to the wooden one of the CCD. Hence I use the OXO more than the CCD. If one is careful you will not notice a difference. Woe to the...

    Can't decide which pads

Actually I am surprised by the numbers as well. Yet, I do not believe that I am of the same verb as you. I am surprised that the Edge pads are getting as high a mark as they are recieving. The reason being is.... I believe that there are a lot of members that are in my boat. Already supplied...

    Starting my spring detailing

I can understand your fear. CCD can marr the surface of your vehicles paint. If you do scratch the surface of your paint the surface it is because the surface had to much dust or dirt, to much pressure wash applied, the surface was wet and dusty or the surface was to hot to use a CCD. Best...

    Can't decide which pads

If you are using a PC then 3 to 4 on the speed to apply a sealant If using a rotary I would set the speed at a thousand rpm's or less. I am not recommending using the rotary to apply a sealant. But if I were to apply with a rotary that is what I would start out at. No matter what I would...

    Starting my spring detailing

Very interesting comments on the Cyclo. Just makes me itchy thinking about the possibilities of using the Cyclo. I have the Menzerna polishes and look forward to using the Cyclo from a member of another forum that offered to let me try his to see if I like the work that it does. Your review...

    Poorboys S & G

This is the exact same thing that I do as well. I also have noticed when I get streaking with S&G that the panels are warm if not hot. The other thing to take into consideration is the amount sprayed on the paint surface. If used sparingly I have found that there is very little streaking and...

    Can't decide which pads

I use LC pads and Propel pads. Both work well. If I were to start anew I would consider using the Edge Pads. Reports say that it is a good system. Have great pad selection. They also have the new waffle pads available. I am happy with the pads that I have but would have no reservations...

    quick detailer

I may spray a detail spray on a towel but only for the hard to get areas. Normally I would spray either detail spray that you mentioned on the surfaced of the paint. Just the like the other two fellas stated.

Nice looking vehicle. Why don't you go back to the edit and close the post that you do not want. It is a simple matter to delete then and then they are gone. I beleive that if you can edit something you can delete it also.
