Hard water spots help... with everything.

Hello Everyone, For whatever reason the spots are not very visible under the sunlight; no idea why. I was going to take a picture and upload it here, but could not find the spots. I notice them the most whenever I am washing/drying the car. Regardless, car needs some detailing. I am going...

Hard water spots help... with everything.

I don't think mine is as bad; no, it is definitely not as bad. You have to look on the right angle to see them, but they are there. I can't feel them with my fingernails. I guess I will buy a polisher and try something not too aggressive and see what happens. I appreciate your reply. Brgds.

Hard water spots help... with everything.

Dr Pain, 1) done. 2) done, didn't work. 3) will try CarPro as suggested. However, I don't think it will work. The spots are etched to the painting. I've tried vinegar, lime juice, baking soda and everything else I could find. No results. 4) it is extensive. Some lighter than others, but tons of...

Hard water spots help... with everything.

Hello Everyone, My car has hard water spots everywhere, including the glasses. Car is solid white, 2012 and in perfect condition other than the water spots. I wash it regularly, but have applied wax/sealant maybe once or twice. I know nothing on the subject, but know how to apply a coat of wax...

Hard water spots, buffer & chemicals - help needed.

Thank you! Understood. But I think I will still use the PB as you suggested before. Just because I am afraid of messing up with the buffer+no experience combination on my side. Thank you. You are right! Thank you all. Brgds.

Hard water spots, buffer & chemicals - help needed.

I am getting a machine, the Griots. I dont even know how the thing work, but I am going to give it a try, :) And I will remove those spots even if I have to repaint the whole car! Where could I find them? No, I havent. As a matter of fact, I've never used a buffer in my life. It scares...

Hard water spots, buffer & chemicals - help needed.

I didn't even know there were things like that; please excuse my ignorance. This Surbuf seems interesting. I should probably try the Surbuf and PB Polish. I am yet to finish my "shopping cart"; so many new and different things. I thank you for your help. Brgds.

Hard water spots, buffer & chemicals - help needed.

I dont think they are deposits as I have tried a lot of different things to remove them. I am almost positive they are etchings. Should I still try the PB Pro Polish or would you recommend something more abrasive? I'd rather start with something not too agressive as I have no experience with a...

    Engine Dressing?

If you are looking for a glossy finish, then 303 will probably not give you that. But if you want to restore the brand new looking of rubbers and plastics, you will be impressed with 303.

Hard water spots, buffer & chemicals - help needed.

Eric, Most definitely the WG Polish Enhancer applied by hand didn't do the job. I guess I will give it a try with the buffer. You mentioned topping the WG Deep Gloss with a wax. If I do that, do I have to always do the 3 step process, polish, seal and wax? Or just seal and wax would suffice...

Hard water spots, buffer & chemicals - help needed.

fancy, I guess I will go with the Griots, because of the lifetime warrantee. I will probably also get the 3" one, for the small areas. What do you think? I did let the WG haze for like 45 to 60 minutes. But I admit that I did that just once, the first time. Will have to remind myself in...

Hello Everyone, My '09 Black Sapphire BMW shows hard water spots everywhere. I have tried clay, Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer, some Meguiars products and others, you name it, with no success (all applied by hand). A friend told me that I should get a Dual Action buffer and I am OK with...
