I’ve been using BSD and v07 1:1 (history of folks using it on a European forum) over PNS. Goes on easy and will last a month or so in the Florida sun. When I run out of this combo, will be trying BSD and beadmaker 1:1.
V07 is it’s name- from chemical guys
I reapply monthly, so I can confirm that it easily last that long.
Environment in which it is exposed has been 92-95F and extremely sunny - which is very hard on the horizontal surfaces. This combo with PNS has been very coating like (no worries of water...
I was in a similar situation and I went with PNS with 50/50 topper mix of V07/BSD. It’s been a month and extremely pleased. Behavior mimics a coating. Safe on trim. Give it another try as I read you weren’t to happy with it before
DG 931 QD direction: add 3 oz of 931 to 16 oz of water.
AW is worth having, less then $10 and last 4-6 weeks. This is for Tampa conditions, intense sun, 95 degree, with nearly daily summer rains/downpours for 2 hours.
I’ve been pleased with DG 105/601 topped with DG 111/601. Just passed 3 months and the the slickness and beading have no noticeable difference. The vehicle sits out 24/7 and only nature’s cleaning. BTW, horizontal surfaces take a beating in the Florida sun
Sonax PNS and if maintaining, use 50/50 BSD and V07. The PNS takes a little to get used to. The 50/50 combo adds slickness to BSD durability. I’m testing this and 601/105 with 601/111 on the front clip on my van.
Will be trying 50/50 BSD and BM soon on it.
Funny timing, just replaced a Washing machine drain pump ($68) on the Bosch washer. Took 30-40 minutes. Washer, dryer and dishwasher are 12 years and counting. Made in U.S. - North Carolina is memory is correct. Very pleased with Bosch, FWIW.
Will have to look into 253 and 271 once my Poorboy tire gel and BF trim are used up. I also have had for awhile but not used yet...701 and 801 - tire and wheel cleaners.
With the last sale, I picked up 105, 111, 601, 921, AW and Repel glass cleaner / sealer. Weather permitting, the wife’s car (metallic black) will get a complete exterior detail. Thanks for all replies.
Thanks for the reply’s. I’ve been using coatings The past 3 years but find myself topping them after each cleaning...so I’m thinking about going back to a sealant. A big benefit was that the coating I used seamed to repel dust, especially on my garage queen. That is the reason for the dust...
