comparison chart of polishes and compounds

Thank you for this chart. I want to print it out, but I get only a small section of it. Can anyone tell me how to capture the whole chart on one or several sheets of 8.5' X 11" paper? I'll never be computer savvy

    Washing Microfibers?

Microfiber towels that have been subjected to fabric softener can be restored by washing them as you would after a detail. I use the same laundry detergent that I use on my regular laundry, and the microfibers come out clean. Best washing results will be attained with a pre-1997 top-loader...

I fill the tank with Premium and use StaBil as directed for long winters in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sealant needed if I am using Collinite 845??

Plus 3 on the 845. But if you want to add something after the 845 cures, put a coat of 476S on it.

Duragloss 105 as all in one?

I've used Duragloss 105 as a cleaner and polish and left it on as a sealer, and the shine was good. I topped it with Optimum Opti-Seal a day later for better results. Collinite 845 is a great topper, also.

    Garage lighting?

If you want light for buffing/polishing evaluation, I find the incandescent type the best. Fluorescent just isn't as good for that purpose, IMHO.

using a drill as a polisher

I wouldn't try it without a variable speed drill.

    Mildest non abrasive paint cleaner?

I would agree with the clay bar & proper lube, followed by Meguire's Deep Crystal Cleaner.

Using Meguiars Ultimate Compound by hand?

Ultimate compound is great because it cuts without leaving "as much" hazing as say Megs. #2. And on some colors under "normal" light (that Brinkman is going to show things that aren't normally seen by a casual look), you might get away with going directly to your LSP. But it is a rubbing...

    Eagle One Spray Wax

I have found their nano wax, and "wax-as-you-dry" products to be acceptable for booster waxes after washes between "real" waxes. But I like AquaWax the most for that. I even used nano wax on my kitchen floor for a booster wax!

I've used WD40 on door hinges since it was invented. It worked for me.

Best detailer spray to enhance 845?

I use Aquawax after washing, and my 845 keeps looking great and hangs in there. Eagle One "Wax as U Dry" works, also, but to a lesser extent, IMO.

    Black (Soft,Soft) Paint

TLM - You finished with the orange. Did you try finishing with the white pad, and it didn't work as well for you as the orange?

quick and easy (temporary) swirl cover-up

The best product to fill swirls used to be 3M "Fill 'n glaze" (the pink stuff). Someone needs to chime in and tell us what product replaced that one.
