Unfortunately I have a broken kneecap now so I haven't had a chance to try out the new Porter Cable yet. Hopefully by the end of this month. :D I've heard alot about Vettes having extremely hard clearcoats, not sure about these F bodies yet tho.

I've been reading on the Meguiars forum that they never recomend using cutting pads with the PC dap due to marring or hazing. Is the Lake country orange (light cutting) pad safe to use? I know to start less aggressive and move up but just wondering if anyone got new problems they couldn't get...

I think it says in the instructions/owners manual no lubrication ever needed.

I always thought mine sounded a little funny too. I got lots of power tools but just didn't think it sounded/felt right. I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

Got some liquid soverean (sp?) in a box with my new porter cable. Can't wait to try both. Got a broken knee cap right now so they're gonna have to wait a lil while. :(

Hi all. I just got my Porter Cable and intro pad kit from Pinnacle. I'm alittle concerned as to how the two grey finishing pads in this kit have the velcro going all the way to the edge of the pad. Seems to me if I'm say working on the top of a fender and hit a roof pillar (perpendicularly) or...

I was reading this article and two pages prior it said not to use a random orbital waxer/polisher. That's what the Porter cable is isn't it? Discuss....

Very nice car. I used to have a 66' Stang, it was a 6 banger tho. I had alot of fun in that car.
