Decided to bring this thread back and wanted to say I removed a 6-7month old CSL coating with a yellow pad + menzerna 3800. Coating is not hard to remove at all as I only did one pass and it came right off. Going to reapply a new coating of CSL and add EXO v4 this time.

Also to my knowledge, I know reset can be used for both foam cannon and bucket shampoo. What are your thoughts on having Reset as a dedicated bucket wash and having something like Adams Mega foam as a dedicated foam cannon soap? I'm personally a sucker for thick shaving cream foam:)

Im looking to change up my wash products so looking for products. Im recoating my car and noticed my CSL being foggy when removing it during a 50/50 shot. I’m thinking it could be my wash setup so I’m investing in some new products atm.

I decided to purchase the reset. I’ll likely do a test to see if it’ll actually have any noticable performance difference.

Also has anyone used Gyeon bath? I know Gyeon and CarPro have very similar products like Prep and Eraser. Does bath perform like reset?

Do you use reset in the bucket as well? Or seperate soaps for foam and bucket

Appreciate the generosity! I pulled the trigger on some edgeless 300 in hopes it can work with coat leveling and polish removal. Now I’m waiting for a few more things to come in before starting the project. I’ll defeinitely give you a PM if I ever feel like I want to check out some MF towels!

Read somewhere that panel wipe might be too harsh on repainted surfaces. Since my bumper was recently repainted, I’ll just play it safe with Eraser.

Would the windex solution you mentioned earlier be the preferred method as a last wipe down for oils?

I have multipurpose 300 gsm, pearl, and edgeless 365 all from rag company. To my knowledge, the pearl green towels are advertised for leveling/buffing ceramic coating but not sure if I can rely on them since they scratch the paint post polish.

Update: Got the edgeless towels and wow these thing make wipe off so much easier. I did a side by side comparison to the pearl mf towels and there was deff more effort needed with those. I also did a side by side with similar wipe off strength and motion and saw the marring from the pearl towels...
