The weather is starting to get cold out here in Chi-town and I was wondering what's the coldest I can detail a car while still being effective? My garage is not heated.

The smell was coming from the carpet. Even though the odor is still there it's not noticeable unless you try to smell it. I can now sit comfortably in the car and not be bothered by it.

I did not remove any filters. For the fogger you just press the trigger down till it locks, step out of the car and shut the door. For the duct treatment, just spray into the air vents outside the car parallel to the front windshield and the interior vents. Turn on the air blower to max...

For the odor smell I would give it a 10. It literally smelled liked there was a pile of poo in the car. After 1 week of using the fogger, I give it a 9 since there is still a very minor trace of the odor. I also want to mention that I used this in conjunction with the duct treatment.

Nice detail on the Mini. I own a Mini and love the way the car drives. It is a pretty fun car to detail as well. The hood is a little more tricky to polish since it has so many curves.

Simply put, the bag test is using a plastic bag, wrap it around your hand and run it through the paint. The bag actually amplifies the surface contaminent feel. In some of my details, I have applied wax immediately after 360 and everything seemed to work fine. Just thought I let you know.

I heard that you can put carnuaba wax to protect the fresh paint since it allows the paint to breath. That's what I did when I got my car back from the shop. It's been 2 months now and everything seems fine.
