Thanks Folks. I thought it was just me in terms of PERL not having great longevity. I used it undiluted on the tires and never really found it to last very long. I've been curious about McKees products. My only concern with experimenting would be products that don't play well together.

Thank you DetailKitty! We have the same issues with having to shut the water off. I have seen people do some horrendous things to beautiful cars with those brushes and not even give it a second thought. To each their own, but it always makes my skin crawl.

Thanks Rsurfer. I was wondering about DLUX....I didn't realize it was safe for paint. The Guards are actually the same color as the vehicle. What exactly does the IPA wipe do, just remove contaminates?

My Painted plastic door guards have seen better days. Faded and nasty looking. Used everything from speed glaze to AIO to bring back a little shine. Helped slightly, but I wonder if there is something else short of wet sanding and repainting to help out. Anyone have something they recommend...

interesting Gentleman. So out of Optimum, Aquawax and Prima Hydro wax while you dry......is any one product a clear winner for a every time after you was product?

Would their be any detriment to using the Optimum or are the sonnax products a better choice for weekly use? I have also read good things about Prima Hydro.....Excited to try the "drying aid" as it is completely new to me but seems to make sense as an added layer of protection between a towel...
