So many products to choose from. I need some help.

Thanks Mark, going to pull the trigger on the WETS. From what I've seen you say, I should NOT be overly concerned with a 4 oz. bottle not going far enough.

So many products to choose from. I need some help.

Truth! I expected more. Still like the product, but perhaps my expectations were a little too high and unreasonable. I can get past a bit of longevity but streaking after a rain is not something I enjoy seeing. Sounds like I won't have to worry with either McKees or Wolfgang.

So many products to choose from. I need some help.

Ugh....This is exactly what I mean! All of these companies seem to be exceedingly good at making great stuff these days. I bet there is quite a bit of overlap in active ingredients. Seems like it's hard to go wrong with any of the aforementioned products. I just applied PERL to some of my...

Just looked it up. Definitely interested in giving it a try for the trim.....I think you're right about it getting a little spendy for use on tires.

Interesting....I will have to look check out WETS. I'm not familiar with it at all.

Thanks Folks. I thought it was just me in terms of PERL not having great longevity. I used it undiluted on the tires and never really found it to last very long. I've been curious about McKees products. My only concern with experimenting would be products that don't play well together.

So many products to choose from. I need some help.

Hi All, I just moved to a new-to-me silver vehicle (Lexus GX-470) after having owned black and other dark colored vehicles my whole life. I miss the rich deep color, but not obsessing over every minute swirl etc...Living in the Northeast, road salt and other chemicals are something we have to...

    Winter maintenance

Tony, outstanding information. Thank you so much. I have to look into a couple of the local Coin-operated spots to see if any offer DI water as I suspect they do not.

    Winter maintenance

Thank you DetailKitty! We have the same issues with having to shut the water off. I have seen people do some horrendous things to beautiful cars with those brushes and not even give it a second thought. To each their own, but it always makes my skin crawl.

    Winter maintenance

Thank you. I would never use the brush or broom the car wash has on the paint of my vehicle.

    Winter maintenance

Hi Folks, I live in VT and when our road crews actually do plow, I'm fairly certain what they throw down is probably some sort of nuclear waste. I just got a new-to-me Lexus GX470 and due to health issues the best I could do before the snow comes was a good wash followed by Collonite 845. The...

Help with painted plastic door guard

Thanks Rsurfer. I was wondering about DLUX....I didn't realize it was safe for paint. The Guards are actually the same color as the vehicle. What exactly does the IPA wipe do, just remove contaminates?

Help with painted plastic door guard

My Painted plastic door guards have seen better days. Faded and nasty looking. Used everything from speed glaze to AIO to bring back a little shine. Helped slightly, but I wonder if there is something else short of wet sanding and repainting to help out. Anyone have something they recommend...

    Weekly Touch Up?

interesting Gentleman. So out of Optimum, Aquawax and Prima Hydro wax while you dry......is any one product a clear winner for a every time after you was product?

    Weekly Touch Up?

Would their be any detriment to using the Optimum or are the sonnax products a better choice for weekly use? I have also read good things about Prima Hydro.....Excited to try the "drying aid" as it is completely new to me but seems to make sense as an added layer of protection between a towel...
