    Family member garage damage

I did not buy him the car, they just came home with it, nothing I can do there. But I fully agree with not buying him a car period, should have been earned, and less than what he got. Car is a nightmare with 100000 miles on it its going to be expensive with repairs. Detailing is just a hobby...

    Family member garage damage

The truck incident was years ago, and yes he did get in trouble with his mom. He overall is not a horrible kid, just a lack of respect and boundries. I guess I need to be a better example and lay down some more rules. Much of it is probably my fault in my deficiency of parenting skills. Being a...

    Family member garage damage

Thought about it when my race gas concentrate went missing. $100 bucks worth and none of his friends or himself own any car that would benefit from high octane fuel.... total waste. Then some of my wash mits disappeared, later waterless wash micros and detail spray. Its like they don't think...

    Family member garage damage

The ZL1 is the one getting scatched in the garage. I corrected his 335i once. Now it is a swirled mess and I could care less. I demonstrated how to take care of it, and where scratch's come from. Next day I find him throwing micro drying towells on the driveway, and then picking them up and...

    Family member garage damage

A little searching and I found a micro lined cover. Might give this a try regardless. American Armor Car Cover (Cover Security Kit included)- Gray I agree with the 18 year mentality, and being a step parent makes it even worse. I dont mind things happening, thats life, but he know how OCD I...

    Family member garage damage

Just curious how others here deal with famiy inflicted garage scratches. I have found scratches from setting things on the car, and then dragging the item as it is picked up, varoius brush against scratches, and now came back from vacation to find one that can't be corrected on the rear bumer...

    Blackfire Crystal Seal

I would stick with the Polymer spray. It is really good and the product like other BF products a little goes a long way. I find it the perfect companion to maintaining crystal seal. It contains the same polymers as the CS so it keeps it topped off and looking sharp. I use it every other wash and...

    The Wet-Look .. with Detailer?

The water less wash kit works great. No trip to the car wash, no water in unwanted jambs, or trunk sills which in the Camaro collect lots of water. Cleaning and protection are done in one step. It can be carried along with you for road trip ups, car show washes. It can be done in the comfort of...

    Blackfire Crystal Coat problems...

Just to add to the feedback I used the product yesterday. It had been previously opened a few months ago. The temperatures were high 50s. Applying it to the applicator it seemed as usual, but as soon as it hit the paint it was immediately sticky and thick. I was lucky to get it to buff off, but...

    The Wet-Look .. with Detailer?

The wet look your after is going to lie more in the condition of the paint. If you have an LED flashlight, take it out and check your car at night. A decent LED will show you how good, or bad your paint is. Look for one with about 200 lumines and that should be good enough to show you your paint...

    REVIEW: Rinseless Wash Mitt

I used the Mitt as well for the first time last weekend. Blackfire rinseless wash was my choice for the solution. I really like the Mitt as well, and will try it out with a traditional wash as well. For rinseless it is my go to Mitt.

    Blackfire Crystal Coat problems...

I think it was too warm, or you have a bottle that needs to be replaced. I have had to exact same experience in +80 degree ambient out side air. Microfiber tried to glue itself to the surface leaving me wondering if I gave too much, or too little time. I tried it on another car in cooler temps...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Thanks. At 650 rear wheel hp (modded) it is a real blast. Now I am waiting for my last order to arrive from the last sale. Ordered up some blackfire crystal seal for the protective film, SRC polish, ploymer spray, more buffing pads and some other things from the last 25 off sale. Autogeek is great.

To remove the product use a microfiber that is wet with the product. The carrier agent will break down the dust barrier and wipe clean.

    Honoured Again: 2015 ZL1

These cars have horrendous amounts of brake dust. Coating the wheels works wonders. I really like how you dressed the wheel wells also, now I need to take my wheels off and do the same. Thanks for the idea. Great job and write up.
