On carpet and cloth seats, how about just using something like masking tape?

More than interested in testing. I routinely use Megs D114 on all three cars in the stable (F150, 328i and a QX4).

Pretty well the same here. I use it religiously after every wash on my cars without a formal wax - the beading is incredible. I'm just starting to do formal waxings of the cars in preparation for the winter rains - I will even follow up those waxings with a shot of D156 to finish them off.

Griots Speed Shine works well, as does Megs D114 at the prescribed ratio (128:1 or even 256:1).

Any supporting information on this?

Megs 101 for me. 10:1 general cleaning and full strength on tires

I am like some of the others above. I use the GD method and go through a lot of MF towels in the process (6-10 depending on which vehicle - that translates into 48-80 towel sides when proper towel management it used - add another 2 -4 MF towels for Megs D156 after the wash)). I have them...

I never used D151 or M66, but D156 is one of my staples. I use it every second wash on my main ride. I've hit a couple of our cars that had not been waxed in years and they are still beading up a couple months after application. So whatever the "conditioner" is it appears to last for me.
