    Washing in the rain!

Your correct, I did and I love it :xyxthumbs: Been here almost a year and its awesome (and I haven't even gotten up to go boarding this winter yet) I love the cold/hot/dry high desert climate here in Central Oregon. Just sayin that 67 is not that chilly. :dblthumb2:

Should I keep my pressure washer?

a solid electric one is awesome! I wouldn't be without mine at all anymore.I went the AR Blue Clean route with mine and really like it. I currently have the AR 383 AR383 Pressure Washer | AR Blue Clean 383 Power Washers but I think I'm upgrading to the AR 390 AR390SS 2000 PSI Electric Pressure...

Used D156 as a drying aid for the first time today...

I've used D156 for years and have loved it. I use it for all of my basic wash customers and it really packs a punch. Protection is pretty legit for a spray wax too, especially considering the price for a gallon of it. I'm transitioning many of my products from the Meguiars Detailer line to offer...

    Spot Free Water system

Thanks for the info, that's great to hear. Wonder how long it lasts when washing 1-2 cars a day? Is the added expense worth the time saved from drying? Thanks I really appreciated that! I read through your other thread too and theres great content in there. I feel like now that I have a shop...

    Spot Free Water system

I've looked into this in the past and sounds awesome. How often do you typically need to change the resin and filter? How many washes with a pressure washer could I expect?

    No free gift?

So, I placed an order a week and a half ago during the "20% off and free shipping over $95 and a free gift included" Order came the day before yesterday and I just realized there was no free gift in it? Will it come seperately? It did I do something wrong at checkout? Order was over $100 after...

    New Shop Build

Thanks guys, appreciate the love and support:xyxthumbs: Thanks man!!! 35 ft. I don't do RVs and big things. I have enough huge trucks to deal with here in the mountains lol. Yeah, a dropbox is on the list too, gotta do some research and find a good one. No AC, but t doesn't get into triple...

    New Shop Build

UOTE=BMW435;1341558]Great looking shop, very spacious. Good luck with it. Thanks guys:dblthumb2: Yeah, some shelving will be nice, and gotta get a washer and dryer still, but I'm loving it so far! Haha, yeah, the white stuff on the ground isn't ideal for detailing, but at least now I'm in the...

    New Shop Build

Thanks guys, sounds like a good idea, but it's actually really well insulated so a fan would not be that necessary. It's south facing too, so gets warmed up from the sun as well. I'll see how I fare in the summer on hot days and might reconsider the fan idea. :D

    New Shop Build

A few updates on a some things that I've gotten done since getting in the space. First off, had the drain drilled out and new concrete filled in around it, so I can continue to work (and wash) indoors when the temps are below freezing (as is common here in the winter. What it looked like...

Anyone else having trouble uploading photos/creating albums?

Yup, same thing here, been that way for me for at least a couple months. I had to switch and create a Flickr account (way easier process in my opinion) because it was simply not possible through AG anymore. Your right, major glitch, and it surprises me that they haven't gotten it fixed yet. I...

    Undercoating on the interior??

Thanks for the help guys, it was never a planned project, only happened because I needed to eliminate the water and figured since it was gutted.... I've got it all taped off and I'm gonna spray a couple cans of the 3M stuff on it (thanks for the suggestion Ebg18t), that sounds like the...

    Undercoating on the interior??

That stuff looks cool and legit, probably more than what I'd be interested in as it would be just a quick project. I have to have my car back together by monday morning for a mobile job, so probably would need something that I can prep, apply, and dry within 24 hours or so. Maybe that's not even...

    Undercoating on the interior??

My car's interior is currently torn apart (my water tank leaked roughly 20 gallons of water and I had to tear it apart, big operation, but it's taken care of and completely empty now) I was recommended to maybe put an undercoating on the frame (on the inside) to reduce road noise and improve...

Removing large amounts of water from interior

Interesting, hadn't thought of that, but not a bad idea. I'm guessing I'd need to wrap/covered all wiring and electrical stuff under the carpets before applying? Have you (or anyone) done this before, how much if a difference does it make?

Removing large amounts of water from interior

it was s nightmare, but once I decided to go all the way with it, I felt much better about the situation being resolved. Yeah, I figured that the more work I did now, the less I'd have to do later, and cleaning up water is sooo much better than cleaning up the mold that it would have turned into.

Removing large amounts of water from interior

So, i noticed a little more water in the back cargo area so did some more investigating, found it it definitely got to more than just the passenger side. After further investigation, the entire interior had decent amounts of water under the carpets, so I took everything out!! What it used to...
