Removing large amounts of water from interior

Wow, what a project!!!! Took about four hours out of my day taking the seat out, pulling the carpet out, and sucking as much out as possible. There was a TON of water after I figured most was sucked out before removing the carpets. Probably 15 gallons emptied out of the tank and it was all in...

    Dealership Coating Contract

Interesting, I had a very similar thing happen when applied to an RV even though I was told by OPT that it wouldn't and I must be doing something wrong for it to react that way. I've been back a couple times to buff out the oxidation that reappeared on my own dime. That was one of my last OCP...

Removing large amounts of water from interior

Woke up this morning and got a not so pleasant surprise on my way to work. Somehow my water tank valve got bumped yesterday and slowly dripped about 15 gallons of water into my HHR. It was all contained on floor of the passenger seat and behind the passenger seat (there's no back seats so...

    Dealership Coating Contract

If it's your business, (and owning a business in the end is about making money - not just a detailing business, but any business) then why not try to make it as profitable as you can? Your offering a service to people that have money to pay for your service (and that service isn't exactly easy...

Cool microbeading "matte" effect in the morning

That's pretty cool, I've put Hydro2 on a lot of cars, but never had the pleasure of seeing that before. When I read your first post I thought maybe you were exaggerating or something, but that picture of the red car is pretty awesome, and definitely looks matte :xyxthumbs:

Anybody Here ever moved from Big House to Tiny House?

Are you talking just a smaller house, or literally a "Tiny" house like how they seem to be kinda trendy now? I've seen stuff on TV where the houses are literally like 200-300sqft with a two beds a bath and kitchen/living area (some even smaller) check it out: Tiny House Listings - Tiny and Small...

    Custom labels for spray bottles

Seriously, that's an awesome little bit of info to file in the back of my head. I HATE when adhesive gets left on stuff. That's a really cool idea, :dblthumb2: so I'm guessing once you have a design down, you'd just print off onto clear laminated paper or something? How do you plan to adhere...

    OTC Fabric Guard?

He said he needed something ASAP as snow was on the horizon. As good as AG is, he's probably not gonna get the product in under a day, so he needed ideas he could get locally. Is that rule really being enforced to that degree now, or are people just making it out to be worse? I never read that...

    Dealership Coating Contract

Sounds like whatever you did for the last three weeks, should be repeated :) it seems like that helped to get your coating end of things really going. Were they new car prep or correction/coating jobs? I'd say if you found something that works, keep repeating it:dblthumb2:

    Dealership Coating Contract

Do you think they'd be able to sell that option to their customers for that much of a higher price compared to what they're already offering? I guess it's worth a shot, maybe you're on to something...

    Dealership Coating Contract

I've thought this over a lot over the last year or so and haven't really come up with any great ideas. It's very true that a coating on a new car could be the best way to go, but the fact that (1) the dealer already has a really cheap product and (2) they don't care/don't want to spend on a...

    Custom labels for spray bottles

Subbed for ideas. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else does as I'm getting all new bottles with product transition and want everything to be clean and cohesive.

    Show us your RIG

Funny that your thinking of adding mobile back into the mix now, but it sounds like it could makes sense given your current situation. If you want something smaller, definitely go HHR, I'd HIGHLY recommend. You can even have a small water tank and generator if you wanted for backup. Good...

    Snow Removal

I got the the snowbrum on my last order and got to use this past weekend and can't believe I've ever used anything else. It's so much safer and SOOOO much easier! Highly recommend.

    Garage Floor Coating (concrete)

From what I was told/read all that needs to be done is clean it well, rinse it well and let it FULLY dry. Then you pretty much just paint it on line you're painting a wall. Hope that helps!

    Garage Floor Coating (concrete)

Hey 98LowRanger, I am actually doing the exact same research myself for my new shop. I posted a similar question over on the garage journal forum (there's a ton of information on that forum for stuff like this) and got some good advice. I narrowed it down and am really close to pulling the...

    Something between m105 and m205?

+1 I've done this many times in the past (1/2 105 1/2 205) with great results. :xyxthumbs:

    A Note on Engine Detailing

Why even use a pressure washer? Is it really necessary? If you take your time and use degreasers and brushes, a simple soak down (while avoiding things like the alternator) should be more than enough. I'be never had an issue this way and customers are always more than happy. OP, do you happen...
