    Great Detailer. Sorry Businessman. Frustrated

Good thread, and definitely one worth subbing to. I've had similar issues in the past as the OP and found that the biggest thing was over time I was able to weed out the price shoppers and focus on people who really truly cared about their car. The best way to weed this out is make sure that you...

    New Shop Build

Thanks for all the love everyone, I'm really excited about it! I'll definitely keep up on this thread over time as I make improvements and do things to the shop. It's just the beginning of new and even better things at Dynamic Detailing!

    HydrO2 Quick Test Video

:xyxthumbs: That's what it seems like to me too, it looks like the lite just already has the water added so you don't have to measure it out. It also makes it so you can't adjust the dilution (if you wanted to for any reason). You'd think there must be more difference, but I can't seem to find...

Updated added a few more things and sold a couple others.... - I can do sample sizes (or larger) of all of the following Meguiars gallon-sized products (many only sold by the gallon): Protein Stain Remover (D116), Fiber Rinse and Tannin Stain Remover (D106), Hyper Dressing (D170), Rinseless...

    New Shop Build

It's finally here, I got keys on Friday and started moving a bunch of stuff in over the weekend. I will officially be able to start using it Tuesday and I'm so stoked!! Figured I'd take pictures along the way as I build it up (pretty blank slate right now) and make a thread showing the process...

HHR Panel for Mobile Detailing unit?

Probably the best investment I've made too (thanks again Josue!!) These are great cars for a smaller mobile operation (or just where you're not doing a bunch of washes without access to water). Only complaint I have was that I couldn't find one with a manual transmission or an SS Panel. That...

    Website Critique.

I don't remember looking at it before, so can't compare vs your original one, but to me it's a good starting point. - your website will be something that is constantly changing and getting updated over time. A couple of things from looking it over from a first time perspective: The text on a...

How to Fix RaceDeck Free Flow Slippery Tiles

Dang man, I really wanted to get these but between your video and the interaction with Jorgen (who I've had pretty good interactions with so far) I'm a lot more hesitant now. Hmmm...

    Business Card Test (Water Beads)

That's s cool card! Do customers ever mention anything about the design or does it start any conversations? Thanks Mike! That means a lot, yeah, they might not all get the idea of swirls, but beading does seem like a pretty well known concept, especially when considering the types of customers...

    New Shop...Need Advice

Re: New Shop...Need Advice (Pics!!) So, it's finally almost here!! I've been told that I should hopefully be able to start moving stuff in this weekend and start working in it next week. Im the MAN Doing almost nothing but interior details outside in 30 degree weather is wearing on me so I...

    Business Card Test (Water Beads)

Here's an updated version, spent a little more time diversifying the the water droplet sizes/details and made the change Ryan suggested. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

unique ways of getting new customers

You've got drive man:props::props: You can hear it in the way you write. Sales come easier for some than others, but if you work at it consistently, you'll only get better at it (like anything else).

    Business Card Test (Water Beads)

Hmm, thanks guys, my wife is very much in the camp of the old card, but I like the new one better myself. Just curious on how a potential customer might see it, hence why I posted. That's a great idea on using the beeds logo Ryan, I have no idea why I hadn't thought of that. I could bump...

    Business Card Test (Water Beads)

So I'm thinking of maybe adding some water beading effect on my business card, but curious on some of your thoughts? Is it too much, is cleaner/simpler better? Is the beading effect cool? Your thoughts as a detailer/hobbyist/potential customer would be appreciated!! This is my current design...

One Brand for Everything, what would you choose?

It used to be Meguiars for me, but that's changed as of late, but AG doesn't sell my new stuff, so unfortunately I can't share that :( Meguiars is a great brand with very extensive options though!
