    Mobile detailing and mileage?

My current target client, is the individual car owner and not the dealerships. I may end up traveling for a single car detail. I am estimating $25 - $30 per hour.

    Mobile detailing and mileage?

Is it reasonable for a mobile detailer to disclose to customers that you travel a set distance freely, and then charge for distances traveled beyond that set distance? For example, serve a 60 mile radius, then add $0.33 per mile traveled beyond that 60 mile radius. Or Should I just say...

    My Website

I believe that the op said that it was a template. If that is the case, either a)the op did not change the default graphics. or b)If the op paid for a one-off template then he got ripped off. Since this was a template, unless the op paid big money for a one-off template, any site that uses that...

    Working on a logo

Tonight's revision Would today's work be a step towards the better or the worse? I still do not know why the image is appearing to suffer from pixelation when being saved as a gif.

    Working on a logo

Another revision. This time the original is in 600 dpi and 16" wide. Better design? It is in black and gold only. I do not know why the caduceus saved the way it did but the original is clear and not pixelated like it is in this lower res save.

Repainted a panel, how long until wet sand and polish?

I just finished removing a rust spot on my 1999 chili pepper red pearl Durango and painted - all by spray can - part of that panel with Cross-Fire primer, then Acrylic Enamel and a three layers of PlastiKote Premium clear enamel. I know it is a little abnormal to clear acrylic enamel but...

    Working on a logo

I have been using Photoshop CS5. It is expensive, but if you are a student you get a great discount from Adobe (and who knows when it will come in handy again). I originally bought the program while taking a photography course and recently updated to CS5.

    Working on a logo

I am not a graphic designer, have little knowledge of graphic design, and I only have a fair understanding of photoshop from past use. MatthewM: Thank you for the suggestions. I posted the full detail version on the forum as I knew it would show quite large and the details would be obvious. For...

    Working on a logo

Sorry AG members. I just noticed that I posted a version without the text layer - user error.. One number off in file name. I guess that is what I get for posting when I was so tired. The name of the company is Shine Doctors. Here is a properly saved version of the logo. I based the name off...

    Repainting my van's hood

I had to dig this thread up. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dave - he was kind enough to travel a few hours North to teach me some of the basics - and the quality of the work that was done on this hood is amazing. The hood looks great, and amazingly looks like automotive paint that was...
