Hi Lauren! You've been away long :) I feel your confusion.
I actually find the Zymol waxes really good, I still reach for Glasur when I want some nice looks and durability (for a wax). As what the others suggested, you can also look into 915 for all your cars, or a sealant like Finish Kare...
Very easy to apply and wipe off; goes on like butter and wipes off nicely even if I forgot about it the whole day and came back for it the day after :D
It's not that much durable, 2-3 weeks on its own for me. It looks good though, and seems to do better when topped with a wax. That kit is...
Were you able to notice some high spots (rainbow- like spots) when you were applying? Perhaps the previous layers of Optiseal and 915 weren't removed by the IPA wipe, hence the "fogging". I've had it happen to me and it does look like haze.
PLEASE Meghan!! I too find their line excellent. That Finis Wax has been elusive; I've lost 2 shipments of it so far and been wanting to get the Auto Balm for the longest time.
Also, since I've been off- topic- how about the Victoria line? Im the MAN
Same here, Glasur has to be my top wax, and I don't own a Porsche either :D It's pretty durable too, believe it or not. It comes cheaper than other waxes actually. When you get to try out how it spreads, you'll get a lot more applications from it.
I hear you. Nice Oakleys btw! Before all the waxes, I was collecting those as well, unfortunately I had to let almost everything go recently... Kind of having separation anxiety :D
