Biggest job I've tackled; happy with results

Thanks for the compliment. I made 6 fairly slow section passes, working in approx. 24" squares or corresponding surface area where the panels weren't large or flat. I also used Mike's top-down strategy of doing both polish and wax on the roof, hood, and trunk before moving on to polish the...

    Topper for Liquid Souveran

Thanks again to all above for your suggestions. Since I live where it hardly ever rains, my car mostly just gets dusty rather than "dirty." So I followed Jayfro's advice and ordered some Pinnacle Crystal Mist to use as a QD, maybe weekly to keep my neighbors asking "Isn't that car clean enough...

    Topper for Liquid Souveran

Thanks for the in-depth explanatory and suggestions. Very helpful. I think I'll leave well enough alone and see what the durability of Liquid Souveran looks like at my next wash.

    Topper for Liquid Souveran

Hi Mike: Welcome back from SEMA. Just completed a detail finishing with Rupes Diamond topped with Liquid Souveran. Great results. (Photos and thread here.) Do I need or can I use another topper over the Souveran? I have Rupes 808 that I'm anxious to try, but not sure that I'll get any benefit...

    One-Step Polish/Wax

After most washes, I've been using CG HYBRID V07 OPTICAL SELECT HIGH-GLOSS SPRAY SEALANT & QUICK DETAIL SPRAY. But I did not use any topper until the first wash after the HD Speed application.

Biggest job I've tackled; happy with results

As an AIO, HD Speed impressed me. There were holograms on the car from a rotary buff by the previous owner, and it took them out. The Montan wax in HD Speed left a really deep, clean shine. But the Rupes Diamond polish gave the paint a crisper and sharper look, if that makes sense. It seems to...

Biggest job I've tackled; happy with results

This was my first time using it, and it was very easy on and off as long as you let it haze up a bit. Zero dust or residue. Impressive wax.

Biggest job I've tackled; happy with results

Four months ago I used 3D Speed to get a nice deep shine on my M5. But not knowing how it was cared for before I bought it a year ago, I decided to go beyond my normal quarterly wax job. My process - helped greatly by posts and threads on AG, was as follows. 1. Washed wheels with CG Diablo...

    BigBoi vs Metro Blaster Sidekick

I'm another happy Sidekick (enthusiast, not pro) customer. I find it especially useful for wheels, tires, and engine bay. Also very helpful in tight or small areas like grills. I went with the lower price vs. other brands but am not disappointed with the performance.

Very happy with it. Totally different drive than the M3, the torque is incredible. The size works better for me than the M3, as well. Singapore Gray over Sakhir Orange.

Best speed setting on LHR21 Mk II using Diamond Ultra Fine and white Rupes foam pad

Planning my first use of Rupes Diamond Ultra Fine Gel Compound next week. I'll be applying with a LHR21 Mk II and white Rupes foam pad. During my previous efforts with the Bigfoot, I've kept the speed at 4.5 with HD Speed AIO, and at 2 when applying/spreading a liquid wax. Any suggestions...

    Exhaust tips

I use the Ball Buster polisher from Chemical Guys along with either their Light or Heavy Metal polish and it does a great job on exhaust tips. I use an old wheel brush to scrub the insides of the tips. Sent from my SM-G975U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Cleaning dead pedal

I did see a few on YT and you're absolutely correct. Most people just rip them out to replace them, pulling the fastening posts and O-rings right through the carpet. I'll do the best I can, leaving it in place. I'm trying to maintain perspective ... I do put my foot on it. ;)

BMW Dakota Leather (2006)-How to soften and rejuvenate?

You might want to look at Colourlock. They have products that achieve the results you're looking for, at least in the videos I've seen.
