I know where I can find the foam guns on the website ...thanks anyway... was just wondering which one acutally works well..hmm./I guess they are all the same construction here..well as long as they acutally do the job I am happy.

I was planning on the Flex but I think will start instead with the GG6 for now til I get a feeling for those DAs, and also since they have those smaller backing plates.

how about a smaller backing plate like 4 inch or so??

Anybody can recommend a 'foam gun' that's run by waterpressure only? I see a lot of different opinions... the water pressure in my house is very good.

so for light SCRATCHES on new paint... u would recommend LC hybrid orange pad? The scratches are just by the trunk space where u lift stuff over...top of the rear bumper..don't know what it's called......guess I did it to myself...don't think was by 'external' doing... nonetheless irritating..

so for those light scratches..IF i had a flex or other DA... what pad and polish would work best? some polish with low cut or do i have to go more agressive...same with pads... i buffed it out ok, but still not super happy how it looks..i want them gone again. ;)

Do you guys know that feeling... you wash your car and stuff and all of a sudden you notice some scratches on the paint and wonder how the hell they get there... Happened to me this morning... fortunately, and to my surprise I had some light sonax polish on hand.. and got those scratches...

yeah I am sure your right. like MF towels... they surely trap those nasty wood particles well... can't even get them out after a wash. Time for new ones again. ;) Oh and update on my DA journey... I think I am getting the FLEX if I have any $$ left around X-mas time. My car has so many edges...

I think for now I will go with your advice. The flex is prob great tool - but like $500 for a beginner... IDK... The Griot 6" is reasonable priced and to get a feeling for a DA it's prob good for a start. Which pads are you using with it? I might go with some 'lake country' like some other usw...
