Great, I'll try that. Still would like to hear about the bulb, at least the base. I'd rather get a generic, but I could stomach spending the $40 on a bulb if I got a cheap a handheld lamp to put it in.

Can anyone who has the gclear light post some specs about it? How long, what's the connector, and what's the make/model of the bulb? I want to use this product for my family's vehicles but the $200 curing light makes it unaffordable since they aren't paying. I don't think the UV in Philadelphia...
