I use Tuf Buf pads on my 3401. Much better then the LC wool pad with less shedding. Cut is amazing.

Weekend warrior over here.. I'm home based only and have no interest in being mobile. I love being home and having a young family I promised the wife I'd not go mobile. I average about 1K a month and that's only doing 1 to a max of 2 cars per weekend.. I won't take on 2 large jobs in 1 weekend.

For this purpose I'm sure it would do just fine. Doesn't take much to get water gliding off waxed panels.

What polish u using? I use menzerna and use those pads every week. Odd you're having such problems.

I spray mine with apc let them sit for a minute and then use a brush to work the surface and rinse. I find they clean easier then regular foam pads.
