    PCXP/Meguiars G110V2 / Griot's/ Owners Chime in

My first machine was an original PC, it is about 5 years old now and still going strong. I am tough on my machines and this thing just won't die. I even dropped it from about 6 feet once and it works just like new. Only thing I have done is put washers and bolts through the handle holes to...

    MF Pad System...Devil's Advocate Thread

:laughing: Hi Adam! I'm Kevin. Pleased to meet you! Spicy: I did not know Surburff's finished down that well. I thought the marring was significant. I guess that's one more thing to try with my limited budget!! It's not that they finish down all that well, however what they leave...

    MF Pad System...Devil's Advocate Thread

I rarely do an intermediate step after surbuf/105 unless I'm doing a full 3 step correction (which means I would do an intermediate step no matter what the first step was). I have had great luck finishing after surbuf/105 with both Menz 106fa and PO85rd.

starts shipping Meg's DA MF system this Tuesday, what about AG????

Re: Detailed Image starts shipping Meg's DA MF system this Tuesday, what about AG???? It's going to hurt when you fall off that high horse my friend. Why does he have to be loyal to a store? If he can get it somewhere else more quickly then I say go for it. If he is in no rush then order...

    MF Pad System...Devil's Advocate Thread

My only issue is I think some, not all and not most, but some people have over sold how well this system works, or how well it works. I'm just playing devil's advocate. Not saying the system is junk. Basically giving my feelings plus a few points that could be food for thought. Surbuf is...

    MF Pad System...Devil's Advocate Thread

In my experience any polish/pad system is paint specific. Haze was noted with this system on a hard factory paint job and a softer repaint. Also more haze was noticed when the pad was used on the Flex DA, we assume due to the forced rotation. Again, not saying it doesn't work, but IMO it must...

    MF Pad System...Devil's Advocate Thread

OK, this thread isn’t trying to start any arguments. I mean it only to be a thread playing devil’s advocate about the new MF Pad System. I am by no means saying the system doesn’t work, isn’t good, or shouldn’t be purchased. Cost: For this I am just going to base it on the 5/5.5 inch...

    Menzerna's 3 step polishes?

It really depends on the paint. I've used pg/sip/106. 203/po85. 105/106. It all depends on what kinda of paint (hard, soft, sticky) and what level of defects are in the paint. I keep pg,sip,203,106 and po85 on hand all the time. Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk

What would you do??? Business issue/Maintenance Problem.

For the people talking about insurance do you find it worth it? I mean how often are you going to mess up a vehilce, mechanical or otherwise? I've damaged one vehicle in 5 years and it cost me$ 800 out of pocket to get fixed. If I had carried insurance that whole time I would have paid more than...

Charging extra for pickup of vehicle?

Kris, from what I gather you do production type work so an hour out of your day will cost you a lot more than it would cost me. So from that stand point I totally agree with you. For me when I'm already spending 20-40 hours on a vehicle another hour doesn't make or break the job. Yeah, usually...

Charging extra for pickup of vehicle?

I don't mainly because I'd rather pick up a vehicle than do a mobile detail. I do mobile details, but I hate them with a passion. Only thing you have to let them know is the vehicle may not be perfect after you drive it back to them. I always being some towels and QD, but other than that...

Updated 2/21: Mothers Back to Black vs. Faded Florida Trim

Re: Mothers Back to Black vs. Faded Florida Trim This just goes to show that if you use a product properly it generally yield good results. All the people in the "B2B is the Worst Ever" thread should take a look at this. I'm not saying it's the end all be all trim product, but it isn't the...

    Interior Dressings

DP is too shiny for me. I like 303 and my new favorite has been Prima Nero. It darkens more than 303 but doesn't leave a glassy finish behind like DP.

    Meguiar's DA Microfiber Correction System

I don't even know where to start with this statement...No taping? Flashing? Misting? WTF are you even talking about? M105 isn't the mysterious product that everyone thinks it is. there is a learning curve, but it isn't that difficult... To Rasky: Thanks, good to know the pads will last for...
