    Hard vs Soft waxes

Thank you Mike! :xyxthumbs: I was actually referring to the difference between paste waxes that are considered soft or hard. namely the Dodo line up saying hard and soft. I realize i wasn't exactly clear on that distinction. is there a difference between those two types? I know my p21s...

    Hard vs Soft waxes

Thanks for the input :xyxthumbs: Obnoxious? Im asking a legitimate questions and the only responses im getting are buy this wax or tell us what kind of wax you want. That isn't what i was after. I've asked the same questions close to 3-5 times in this thread. I appreciate the input people...

Ok, Ive been briefly searching this morning about the purpose of this Wipe down. can anyone explain why i should do this? Also, i do my own body work, so i have some paint prep wipes. would they do the same? they are designed to remove wax, grease, ect... I assume the IPA would do the same...

    Light meter

Forum would not let me have this in my initial post. so i had to split them up. Weird i know. Alternative Method if you understand photography (might be difficult to explain to clients) is to simply measure the light output in stops. Set your meter to Shutter Priority. The ISO does not matter...

    Light meter

Should have asked professionals. Not schmucks at a photo shop. They are generally enthusiasts and claim to know more then they actually do. Incorrect. Gray cards are use for incamera metering. Cameras see the world in 18% gray. So do give it the most precise meter reading possible you need to...

    Hard vs Soft waxes

ok guys. im not really looking for a list of waxes. (im starting to questions this forums reading ability as a whole) I just want to know what are the differences between these two types of waxes. Forget that Fuzion and souveran and supernatural exist for the time being. I just want to know...

Poorboys World Super Slick and Suds vs Meguiars Shampoo Plus

Follow up: All though the poorboys is not as gentle as my Shampoo Plus, it only gave me issues on p21s. Ive done some tests on my water, and Im wondering if the soap just isnt reacting well with the water. i still have to recommend Shampoo Plus over the poorboys, but it is by no means a...

Wetsanding and buffing a Ferrari 458!

this looks like i may have been a used vehicle. possibly repainted. many 458 caught fire, so this might have been one of the unlucky ones and got repainted. That paint would have never passed Ferrari quality control. nor delivery control. I used to work at Ferrari of Philadelphia and ive never...

    This Car Mat is Bent!

you will need to heat it quite a bit and leave it warm for a while. Also you might want to try heating next to the bent area. trying to shrink the rubber around it a bit to pull it back into place.

    Hard vs Soft waxes

Ok, I have been doing some more research and decided to try out some new waxes for my cars. I currently use P21s and i feel like this stuff can barely hold up to a strong breeze let alone being washed once a week. I have heard others say the shine wasn't to impressive vs these other waxes so i...

Removing Type I & II water marks on thin paint

if its really thin you might just want to sand it and re-spray. if its single stage its pretty simple. as long as you use the proper sanding techniques it will come out pretty smooth. and if it doesnt make sure you do a few coats of color, build it up. not only will it get smooth with each...

    Flyer templates

you may want to look into photoshop elements. its a cheaper less feature packed version but it may suit your needs. I do all my design in Illustrator and Photoshop. Illustrator allows me to create all my logos and everything in vector format so i can print them in any size.

Wetsanding and buffing a Ferrari 458!

I did a similar job on a local 458. Only the rear quarter panels needed correction. Local ferrari dealership sold the car but the owner wouldn't pick it up until that was corrected. So i got to take sand paper to a ferrari that still had shipping materials on it. Amazing article!
