    Silver metallic wax help!

Thanks killr. Yea I already own the werkstatt and sonus sprays. Love them too. I was just curious about the menzerna name/labeling/production. As for the OP, I love UPP. With autogeeks price matching you could get it for less than 20 right now. Even at 30 its great. A little is all that's...

    Silver metallic wax help!

Yea ill try it out thus weekend. The person I got it from was raving about it but hadn't tried DGPS or UPP so I don't know what he was comparing it to. So I'm guessing HGAS isn't menzernas actual product either than right?

How many of you apply wax with a machine?

I feel I waste way too much product by using the pc for lsps. It actually took me longer to use the pc than by hand. And since the pc doesnt generate much heat that could possibly "burnish" the surface while applying an lsp, I see no benefit. Its really not that hgard to get a thin even layer down.

I dont think hes actually talking about the rotational speed, hes talking about the speed it takes to make a pass.

pressure washer versus the bucket and mit

Unless your detailing a bus or something you don't even need 4 gallons. 2 gallons is more than enough for me. Anything more is a waste imo. I fill a bucket up with two gallons. Wash the car, than the rims and wheel wells. At the end of this I still have about a gallon or so. I save this water...

    Quick and easy liquid wax

Try OCW you wont be dissapointed. Only thing thats easier and faster to put on is a WOWA product like optiseal or upgp. It will give you the look of a higher end carnauba at a fraction of the price. It will take you 5 minutes more at the end of a detailer to use this. And when time=money, that...

Gray, blue, or red pad for final wax?

Haha like I said earlier, I have no clue what's the difference between red and blue. If you have red you won't be missing out on anything and vise versa. I have both and notice no difference. I just use whichever is clean at the moment. Gold on the other hand is softer and is supposedly better...

Gray, blue, or red pad for final wax?

Red is usually for wax or glaze. I dont really know the difference between red and blue if there is any.

    Lakeland Pad Cleaning

I use microfiber detergent mixed up in a spray bottle. Spray the pad good. Agitate with a brush and rinse them out. I dont think its going to get any quicker than what your doing For hand applicators I use dawn power dissolve. Works excellent. I just dont use it on pads since I dont want the...

Microfiber Everywhere - Let's sort them out!

Why did it take you 28 pieces to just do a roof? Wash mitt....1? Drying towel..(possibly 2 at the most) Towels to remove polish...13? Towels to remove lsp....13? ????? Id hate to know how many it takes you to do an entire car.

    Quick and easy liquid wax

Optimum Car Wax, cant get much easier than wipe on wipe off. Excellent carnauba look. Super Slick. Slightly Fills. And lasts a decent amound of time all alone for a spray wax

What would be a good wax for white paint?

A little pricey? You say that like its a drop in the bucket. Anyways, I would go for something thats known more for reflection and gloss, rather than the warm, rich, deep carnauba look. Your best bet is a sealant. I just used 4* UPP and it worked great on my silver. Optiseal works great. Ive...
