Should I adjust my pricing more competitively?

Competing is a losing proposition, it implies you are providing a very similiar service. Don't compete, dominate.

3D Car Care - What Products Do YOU Want to See at AG?

I've never found a 3D Product I wasn't happy with. Even some of their more "Production oriented" products perform really well.

    Carpro Reload Application Question

Reload sets on the shelf. I can make it work but it is just a hassle of a product. Why mess it when I can get similiar results with Opti-seal with 1/5 the effort and time.

Absolutely no business coming my way!! WHY?

This is a very cliche and often untrue statement. Word of mouth only kicks in after you are established with a clientele that is high end enough to refer people. Facebook ads(don't just boost, target a demographic that will include your customers), create a press release, do something...

Absolutely no business coming my way!! WHY?

Your problem is not lack of customers, your problem is OBSCURITY. No one knows you exist. You need to beat the streets, do free demos, interact with people. Go read "The 10x Rule" by Grant Cardone. When you have a mansion in a few years, I expect a free weeks stay when I go to Disney World with...

    2 part coatings

This is true, that is why most pro grade coatings come in two stages.

I've put megs wheel brightener, goof off, straight degreaser, carb cleaner all on Pearl top coat. Did not seem to effect it in the slightest.

    How do you guys advertise?

Social media Search engine optimization... you can't search for anything detailing in my region without me popping up as the top result. Be personalized... people are paying for you as a detailer, not just your business. Let people see your face, hear your story. It goes much further than you...

The $500 Mobile Detailing Startup - A Simple Walk Through

It is shameless because you posted in this thread only because it shows up high in the search rankings, and you used the opportunity to plug your company(against AG forums rules, if I am not incorrect).

The $500 Mobile Detailing Startup - A Simple Walk Through

You should be flat our embarrassed shilling your services like that on a thread like this. Talk about shameless marketing. Edit: hopefully you do not get this extremely helpful thread for thousands of people locked. I get emails from all around the world about this thread.

A Word To All Waterless and Rinseless Wash Users

Thank you for this insight. You have shown me the light after thousands of rinseless and waterless washes. Not. Cmon man, the worse rinseless/waterless wash user does a much better job washing than the average non geek Joe washing a car with a sponge in his driveway.

unique ways of getting new customers

Lack of customers is almost always due to obscurity. Facebook is a good way to fix obscurity.

    How did you start?

Most new business problems come down to this: obscurity, people do not know you exist. Fix that and everything will start moving.

unique ways of getting new customers

I get tons of business from Facebook ads. Don't just boost posts, go into ads manager and pick specific demographics. Did you know you can have it shown ads to people who have bought sports cars within the last 6 months that have a 90k+ income? You can. The amount of specificity is massive.

What products/brands should Autogeek carry in 2016?

    1. Just because something is primarily sold to production detail shops, dealerships, and body shops, does not make it professional. The fact that it is primarily sold to underskilled, inexperienced, wool pad and a rotary type detail shops attest to this. 2. See 1. There are lines that are...
