Mold Car - Restored by Visual Pro Detailing

That is not going to happen. The customer was on a budget and doing all of that was not even close to on the menu. You have to respect the needs and desires of your customer, even if there is a better and more expensive option that they do not want to pursue.

    Cquartz finest VS consumer Cquartz

They are worried consumers can't do it right. If people were able to purchase it, it would not be exclusive to professionals, and that would lead to improper installs and issues that would damage the reputation of the coating. That being said, I am not a finest installer and have never been.

Importance of the word 'detailing' in a business name

I would rather have detailing in my name and people sometimes think of stereotypical detailers than not have it in my name and the prospective customer not make the connection at all.

Mold Car - Restored by Visual Pro Detailing

Yeah, by that logic every car on the road should be scrapped. If any one of took a luminometer to our vehicle we would find anything from moderate to severely dangerous bacteria levels lying within. The DrivePur system fogs the entire vehicle and gets into every crevice. The second stage of...

It was sitting. It had a head gasket repaired and sat for a loooong time before that repair was done. I advised my customer NOT to drive in it until I had worked on it after she explained the situation.

Mold Car - Restored by Visual Pro Detailing

So I took on another really tough interior project a couple of months ago. A prospective customer called and said that she had a Ford Contour that had some really bad interior issues and needed professional help. Naturally, I took it on! I love challenges and this was was on of the worst I have...

Feel like my detailing skills are plateauing - Looking for a boost

I've thought about this. Zack McGovern lives a few hours from me and I might see if I can bribe him with a pot of my famous chili if he will let me work with him for the day. :o

Feel like my detailing skills are plateauing - Looking for a boost

I'm starting this process now. I've agreed to take on a bunch of cars from a local used car dealership. I will be spending many hours on each one more than I will be getting paid for. Sacrifice. I appreciate your feedback. If I'm not sore at the end of the day I haven't pushed hard enough...

Feel like my detailing skills are plateauing - Looking for a boost

Yep, Mike Phillips, Renny Doyle have been read. I'm currently digging into more strictly business related books by a host of other authors. Re reading the specific detailing books is on the list now that you mentioned it.

Feel like my detailing skills are plateauing - Looking for a boost

Ok folks, first of all, I consider myself a very good detailer. If you've ever seen any of my interior show and shines, you can tell I'm a top notch interior detailer. There is always room for improvement, however. I'm very good at exteriors also, maybe not the top 5% of paint correction...

Headlight Restoration Kit DIY how to Restore Yellowed, Dull, Cloudy, Oxidized Polycarbonate, Plexiglass, PVC in 60 seconds by hand (no machine 100%)

You have some excellent results. That being said, most of the headlights I deal with have extreme heat fractures and peeling of the plastic. If I don't use 500g on up sanding procedures, it isn't getting cleared up. Slightly faded is one thing, extremely oxidized, peeling, and cracking...

email vs phone vs both for contact information

Phone is preferable. When people contact me online I require them to give me email and a phone number, but I have an option for them to tell me which one they prefer to be contacted by.

    Most Expensive Auto Detailers

Tell that to Joe at Superior Shine, and a host of other elite detailers out of Florida. Your services are worth what you value them at, and what your clients value them at. Nothing more, nothing less. You are robbing yourself by sitting in the muddy middle among everyone else's prices.

    Need help with adwords ad

Ok, first of all ditch adwords express. Use regular adwords as it gives you tons more options and selections on your keywords and market. That ad is totally uninspiring. You have to entice people or give them more localized or specific information... Mobile Detailing in NEPA! Owned by Gear...

Importance of the word 'detailing' in a business name

That is almost completely wrong. If you are mobile or do not have a retail location, your website is the face of your business. If you do higher end work, higher end clients will want to research into you if they have not been referred. They do that by reading reviews and exploring your website.
