Well see its not just swirls these move with the paint. They look exactly like the holograms ive seen from buffers I have very few swirls on my car at all.

Ok what about something like swirlX, if I used it once a year would my paint be ok then?

Is it safe on my paint to use a Meguiars Ultimate Compound once a year? Or will this eventually cut away too much clear?

It wasn't cobwebb scratches. I did have some of those but I got rid of them with ultimate polish this spring. These scratches moved when I moved that's why I thought they were holograms but like I said a buffer has never touched the paint so I don't know.

I guess a lot of the reason an antique parked in grass will go down quick like that is because its just sitting there. I guess if you're driving it everyday its not as big of a problem.

Ok I used rubbing alcohol on half of the trunk lid and tried to test it like that. The half that I used rubbing alcohol on doesn't bead water but the other side does. So there must still be wax on the car right, even though it is squeaky when I rub my finger across it?

What about Meguiars M26? How long does it last?

Can I use Meguairs products like their Quick Wax after regular washes with Collinite on the car?

Thanks, I'll try that. I have no problem waxing my car every month or two in the summer but I need a good wax that's going to last at least 3 months in the winter time. Any suggestions?
