Need Advice - Rupes Mille vs LHR15 Mark II
I need anyones help trying to make the final decision. Going to be placing the order either today or tomorrow at the latest. I am leaning more towards the Rupes Mille but haven't ruled out the LHR15 Mark II. I am new to machine polishing and have...
Anyone ever use the Jax Wax Jax Metal Polish? Looking to use it to polish the toons on a pontoon. The pontoon is new so just minor oxidation from sitting around. Looking to achieve a mirror finish on the toons.
Great response Mike. I have narrowed it down to the Mark II 15 or the Mille. I just need to decide if I want forced rotation or not. This is a hobby, not something I am making money at but I do see your point of getting it done as quick as possible. The reason I would like to stick with...
So what your saying Mike, you would choose the Mille over the Mark II, just your personal opinion? With the Mille being new, how do you feel it is standing up next to the Flex 3401?
Funny you guys referenced that video. I was watching that as you sent this. I plan to stick with the Rupes products until I am very comfortable with the machine and at that point maybe try different pads/products. The 15 just seems the way to go but still debating lol.
Would most suggest starting with a long throw and then eventually moving up to a gear driven polisher? I had the flex 3401 which I know was gear driven, just was always nervous to use. My local detailing shop uses the rupes and plan to have them show me some tips on using the polishers.
This is just a hobby detailing my own items. Might do friends and family once in a while but mainly my own stuff. I do have an enclosed trailer I will be doing and then my vehicles. I also will be doing my pontoon.
I recently sold my Flex 3401 to buy a Rupes. Just have heard they run smoother. I am a newbie and never have used a machine polisher. I am always nervous to jump into using one so I want something that is safe and forgiving. I am debating between three models and need some help. The models...
I am still leaning going the Rupes route I think. I have the flex 3401 hd model, 5 lake country pads, 2 blue bonnets, the autogeek bag, and the pad cleaning brush. Looking at just buying a complete Rupes package.
Only reason I am considering selling it is to buy a Rupes. I have never used a machine polisher and heard the Flex is a work horse but the Rupes is a little smoother and easier to get used to so considering buying the LHR 15 or LHR21. Thats the only reason I am looking to recoop some money on...
