Geneva Concourse D'legance from last weekend...MUST SEE PICS!!!

I have always loved those Jag XKE's, but that Triumph in British Racing Green is the winner in my humble opinion! Thanks for the great pics......well done. Now I have to go back and start wiping the drool off my keyboard.

PC Vibration with 3" BP help!

You could pick up another counter weight and reduce the mass with a die grinder, Dremmel tool or grinder. Shave a little at a time until it smooths out more. Testing would need to be done with a pad, backing plate installed and the tool in contact with a surface. Holding the tool free...

Those who use APC to wash MF towels

I prewash the dirtiest towels in a bucket in the laundry sink. I follow that with a thorough hand rinse. I have used the blue Simple Green or Meguiars APC diluted until it seems right. Then the towels go for a machine wash. I have always been concerned about getting some type of nasty...

    Newbie Pad Washing Question

For tire dressings, I buy the 3 pack of foam grout sponges from my local big box store. I cut each sponge into thirds and use those for about 4-6 applications, then discard them. They cost less than a dollar per home made applicator that way.

Question before I get new polisher

The flex HD cord is an absolute pleasure to have. It is a real rubber cord and has no "memory", so when you unfurl it, it lust lays flat on the floor. I like it because it eliminates the use of the larger heavy duty extension cords I used to use. As said above it offers no more power, just...

    Seat repair?

I had similar cracks and tears in a Gray Leather Yukon interior. I used the Permatex leather and vinyl repair kit and it worked reasonably well. The kit has a heating tool and about 6 or 7 colorants that you can mix to match the shade. It was the first time I used it and although it...

    Ever Get That Sinking Feeling...?

Wow, that was tough to watch! All those great cars ruined. Thanks for putting it together. Those photos showed damage much worse than I ever saw on the news coverage.

    Waterless wash

I'm sold on Meg's Rinse Free Express Wash and Wax. It's the detailers version of their Wash and Wax Anywhere. Same super saturated lubricity and high shine. Buy it when it goes on sale and although seemingly pricey, 1 gal makes 5 gals when diluted according to the manufacturers instructions.

Need bag for DA and pads

I repurposed an older DEWALT DCK019 tool bag that I never used, and it works just fine. They're around $21 online. (It looks very similar in construction to the Dodo Juice bag sold here on AGO) The only negative, is that the top isn't flat when closed, so some space is lost when zipped...
