Hi folks I'm researching polishers and I'm seeing conflicting specs on this new polisher regarding max opm's I've seen 8400 9600 and some pics of 5400 on the plate on the tool . Which is correct ?

When I'm ready to step up to rupes I'm thinking an es unit will be the better choice . Imo 100 bucks more for a unit that can only be run at half speed is pointless imo.

To me it depends on the situation . For instance if a convo was happening about the rupes 21 and it's old it would certainly be about the 21es. Maybe it just has a coating applied. I would get a paint guage and wet sand it properly.

The 15 was designed with the the detailer in mind , the smaller backing plate is more suitable to the majority of cars out there. Remember rupes never intended nor recommend to use the 15 backing plate on the 21. So the 15 with its smaller back plate has the name detailing on it .
