I used some today after polishing with Menz 85RD and a wipedown with Griots Pre-wax cleanser (another product that I really like). I was surprised at it's thin consistency but it went on real easy with a LC Blue pad on a PCXP and wiped off super easy leaving a great deep, reflective shine. Hope...

I spent the day doing a finish polish with Menz 85RD and putting a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond on my Mustang. Got home, took an Advil for my aching back, went to the forum and imagine my surprise at winning the Pinnacle XMT giveaway! Thanks Autogeek and members.

Menz Power Finish and Megs Ultimate Compound have worked well for me. I haven't used SIP.

Last summer my ex and I looked at the Elantra for one of our daughters and I was very impressed with it. It flat put the competition from Honda, Nissan and Toyota to shame.

I'm thinking a MF pad might be good with a cleaner wax but I prefer a foam applicator with other waxes.

I have some Souveran paste due for delivery today so I think a wash and wax is in order for my weekend. Leafblowers, arrrgh! I hate those things. If I was king of the land I'd outlaw their use EXCEPT for the drying of cars.

Thanks Mike. That's exactly why I can see a Flex in my future. And I can put my 19 yr old daughter to work with the PC when I do her car next time as she's already been initiated. LOL.

I thank everyone for your input on this. I like the idea of doing the same amount of work more efficiently in less time or more work for a finer finish in the same amount of time and I think the Flex 3401 would give me that advantage. I just got the Megs MF system also and think I'll try that...

The manual trans is apparently chinese made and there were reports of early '11 models with clutch and or trans problems. I think they have been worked out but I have an automatic that I'm very happy with (and I've always been a MT fan).

I've had an '04 GT, a '10 GT and currently have an '11 GT. They just keep getting better.

So Mark, do you still have your flex then or have you given up on it?
