Well I spent all day yesterday washing, claying, polishing (menz power finish) and waxing (collinite 845) my Mustang. Didn't turn out perfect but a DRASTIC improvement! This weekend work on the wheels and glass and rewash. Just curious, how long does it take you guys and gals to do a full 2 step...

I agree. I've only used UP by hand but I think 85rd cuts a little more with a black pad and finishes beautifully

I wouldn't expect the 2 layers of megs #26 to have the longevity of Collinite. What I was wondering was whether or not the Collinite could be successfully layered over a fresh coat of #26 to gain the benefit of Collinite's reported longevity vs that of megs #26. They are both carnauba waxes but...

Your point about "bonding" is well taken and that is my concern. If the consensus is that it will be a problem I'll use #26 for the second coat and use the 845 by itself next time. Thanks.

Last weekend I corrected a BMW and used 1 coat of Megs #26 as a LSP. Can Collinite 845 be successfully layered over the #26 to give the usual level of protection (I would think so) and longevity seen from C845?
