I need something effective and also as safe as possible.Could you tell me please which are the safest and most effective wool pads between the ones mentioned in this site? where to buy meguiar's used articles (DA power system)

Hello there. I'm looking for a web page where I can buy used tools and articles. I'm actually looking for a used meguiar's DA power system right now. Is there anyone who can suggest me where to take a look?

best heavy pad that generates less heat (for rotary)

Great Mike, thanks. Optimum Microfiber Cutting Pad Here I can see they suggest the use with rotary but I trust you, I'll keep them only for the DA polisher. I never used the purple wool pads and didn't know they give a similar feel so I'll go with these foamed pads. Thanks again :)

best heavy pad that generates less heat (for rotary)

What do you think about cutting microfiber pads? (I actually don't know if they are good for rotary polishers)

best heavy pad that generates less heat (for rotary)

THanks very much Mike! You're comments are always really helpful. I'm not working at any project right now. I just wanted to use a heavy pad instead of the wool because the feel of the surface is really more "comfortable" to me with foam pads... I know wool should be the first choice but I just...

best heavy pad that generates less heat (for rotary)

Hello there. I was thinking of buying a new heavy pad for my rotary but I really can't understand what's the best choice for someone who needs the property of generating less heat possible... When I looked for this kind of property I saw many different technologies but found that they're really...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

I meant to say I couldn't understand which statement I had to trust in my case... The first or the second? I'm not hesitant about scholl products. They're great Maybe they are both corrects because S0 could be a really pad dependent product... But again... I'm not an expert so I wouldn't...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

How can I trust a manufacturer if he tells me 3 completely different things... Which one is the correct to you? Felt pad, medium pad or fine pad?

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

Sorry I didn't remember you wrote that... The problem is that many others too suggest me to use a heavy cut hand applicator but scholl suggests totally different things. And actually it suggests two different things to be used by hand if you take a look at their new catalog: scholl suggests to...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

Yes it is. I don't want to talk about machine vs manual application but people is asking me other things... What pad you think is the best?

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

I can't quite understand what you mean. Sand the surface with the back of the sandpaper?? O_o Please tell me more because I can't imagine how the back of the sandpaper could work...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

The fact that the particles in this product breaks is demonstrated by the fact that it has to be worked till it dissolves... Yes you can dissolve the product by hand... And yes you can cut properly by hand. Also, a polisher in the hands of a beginner would be dangerous so to me it's better to...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

That's an other reason to use this product by hand. Also a beginner could control the surface abrasion doing it by hand.... Not the same control with a polisher. Sure you can remove the clear coat with a DA or a rotary if you don't pay attention... Am I wrong? I'm not into a particular job...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

That's right. This is the reason why I'm asking here. I would love to find an automotive product and not a product for fiberglass... I'm hoping that there's someone who has some experience with this kind of liquid sandpaper

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

I read comments where someone stated it works actually like a polish. It works really aggressive during the firsts passages and then it breaks and works softer and softer. So if you use it with a polisher at high rpm it should work softer and with less precision than using it by hand because in...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

What do you mean with "it stains"? It should be used on clear coat... Do you mean it leaves marks you cannot remove with s3?
  17. S

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

Yes I know I have to finish it with s3. Im buying this product because I saw many positive comments (from people who tried it with big foot+feltpad and by hand) . Im just hesitant about the kind of pad I could use by hand ... And I'm curious to know if it exist an equivalent product or if it is...

s0 equivalents and which hand applicator

There is no s0 in the chart you posted. I'm going to wet sand with p1500 (that is 800 USA cami grit) 3m sandpaper by hand and then use s0 to eliminate every mark. I'm going to use it by hand because I'm sure the abrasives break down with temperature so using a machine won't be good. By hand it...
