    Bug Squash - Pictorial Review

Thats what they suggest, but never had as much luck. CarPro works great with tar stuck to the wheels, but a let down with the bugs, for me atleast.

    Bug Squash - Pictorial Review

Fair enough, thats why I asked. I normally use it at least a 1'-1.5' away. The only spots I get that close are the really stuck on ones in the middle of the bumper. I always avoid the edges, and and flimsy parts.

    Bug Squash - Pictorial Review

That is a fair point. Is the bug sponge LSP safe? Also to anyone that may know. I have a Karcher 2000 PSI 1.4 GPM pressure washer. It came with a nozzle that spins the water extremely fast to make a cone shape. I spray on the bug spray, let it dwell then blow the bugs off with this as it is...

    Bug Squash - Pictorial Review

I have tried this 1:3, Carpro straight up, Adam's Rinseless 1:6, and CG Bug shampoo 1:3, and CG blows all of the others away. Adams was 2nd followed by Carpro, and then bug squash. It obviously works with one one of the bug sponges, but I am always uneasy about them.

My Journey To Reach A 7-figure Auto Detailing Business

It obviously matters how it is written. Bigger companies are obviously much more tightly written. That is why I mentioned the caveat of higher levels. Most of the time for smaller business it is not worth the company to pay to sue the former employee as they may not win, and probably won't get...

My Journey To Reach A 7-figure Auto Detailing Business

Also, this is not in anyway directed at the OP, but I use a lot of quotes and phrases with my clients two of them are " Hope is not a strategy"-me and "everyone has a game plan until they get punched in the face"-Mike Tyson You have to have a game plan"business plan", or you will not exceed...

My Journey To Reach A 7-figure Auto Detailing Business

While this is very good advice, a few comments. Non competes are like anti theft (sensors) retailers put on clothes, it is a visual deterrent rather than an actual one. You should always have them signed to help prevent someone from taking your clients, but are rarely ever pursued, and in most...

The infamous question: "How much do you charge for a detail?"

I just do a few jobs on the side. Does anyone else require certain items to be purchased if others are wanted? So if you want me to wash the car, I have to treat it for bugs, or if you want me to wax your car, I first have to clay it? I would think most clients assume washing their car means...

I am assuming you didn't either. They all stress the importance. Three of the four articles are from, Entrepreneur, Smallbiz, fox's small business division. Who do you think their target customer is? The Ralph Lauren was a story, not the type of customers the article was geared for. I will...

    Hard to deal with customer

Fair enough. Wasn't trying to offend anyone specific. My comments were directed at the "pound sand" "take a hike" type comments. You will always have customers you have to let walk, but to many times people speak in absolutes when that is not the case. Mentality is extremely important in a...

    Buisness name thoughts

Um ya, I understand what you are saying. I realize all of that is important, but your "Brand" is what sales you. I assume, you have some sort of back ground in digital footprint, but there is not a marketing expert out there that will say your brand does not matter. Your name and logo are the...

    Hard to deal with customer

    1. You can disagree all you want about groupon, but it's not true. I did state you will get type of customers you wouldn't normally want, but to think that is the majority of ones you will get is wrong. People don't run those type of promotions because business is banging and they are book full...

    Buisness name thoughts

The point you are trying to make are not proven by the examples you give. Each one of those names is very unique. What most in here are saying is stay away from the overused unoriginal names, and not that the names do not matter. You are also comparing these giants to a local detailer like...

    Hard to deal with customer

Another random note. Why is everyone assuming the guy has the expectation that the car look exactly the same way it did after the detail 3 days later? Would he not have the same complaint about the hood and the tunk? Why just the roof?

    Hard to deal with customer

I understand that, but in the way that many have explained the way they would portray that message, will end them up without a business much quicker. To many business owners, not just this type of business, do not always understand the idea of loss of future potential earnings. I am not saying...

    Hard to deal with customer

I have worked with many clients that use groupon. They are a great tool, but like all tools, they have to be used correctly. There are definitely people that will not be your normal customer, but to assume all are "not the type of customer you want" is extremely short sighted. Quite a few...
