That's the way I do it.

P21 TAW has always been my go to. I spray undiluted give it a minute or so and then wash the area with reset. works pretty good for me.

It's settled then. When I get a bit more time, I will decon, polish with essence and reapply the DPCoating. Thanks all!

Rsurfer, Thanks for reply. I am aware Essence is a polish, but not sure if it would be strong enough to remove the DP paint coating. Or would it even need polished off to begin with? What's your thoughts?

Ronkh57, I believe the stated life of the DP paint coating was originally listed as being, "up to 2 years". By the time late fall and early winter gets here it will be over a year and a half since applied. My wild card, is how long have I extended or shortened that protection by applying PNS...

In lieu of a hot water extractor, I have found hot water,brush, and a powerful shop vac to perform better than the Bissell LGM. However the LGM will certainly make a large improvement. Good luck, and good for you in doing it yourself.

For the last 4 months I have been using these products and love them. I of washed, decontaminated, clayed, and put down PNS. Looked great and as everyone knows the hydrophobic quality is unparalleled. I wash weekly by doing a foam cannon soap up and rinse off, then a quick Megs d114 2 bucket...

you would need to polish off the panel. Then do the same prep you did to first apply the product.

Just a weird idea here. Maybe and electric toothbrush and baking soda or some other lightly abrasive product would clear it up some. Don't think you can do much other harm to them at this point.....

It's not gonna hurt it to drive it. It will probably wear off on it's own after 3 or 4 washes with a strong highly concentrated shampoo mixture. Perhaps aid it with a little panel spray down of a bug and tar remover(don't let dry on paint) or even a light dilution of Megs APC or similar. Good...

I don't think slickness is the major factor when it comes to limiting pollen and other issues of this nature. I think a lot has to do with the carriers that disperse the product and whether they are oily or not. To me liquid waxes are some of the worst as far as pollen attractors.. Just my...
