I did tighten mine. It was already pretty tight to begin with but I tightened it pretty hard this time and have not had this problem any more.

I ended up working on this veh for approx 18 hours. Just the exterior though I guess 15 hours maybe? I was comparing Optimum Compound to Menz Power Gloss compound. I hate how the PG dusts but I don't really like the residue left by the OC either?

Thanks Guys, the Clear was not that bad, the thing is just a beast though. I know I take longer than most but thats just the way I am. I take my time, and since I do not do this full time I can afford to take a break after doing a long job like this one.

:whs: the vette has very hard clear. Add black to the mix and you are asking for many long hours ahead of you. I used Menzerna Powergloss on a Yellow 6.5" LCC pad speed 6 on a UDM followed up with Menz Nano Polish. It came out nice but that clear is def hard. Take your time and it should come...
