Overnight, eh? Have you had any issues with the Velcro backing coming of the foam pad? I'm worried about the cleaners and water weakening the glue holding the backing on.

embolism, I also had a rough go removing Optimum Compound and Optimum Polish from my pads. I think I was using too much product because it was my first time and I was worried about dry-buffing. I have DP Pad Rejuvenator and it worked pretty well but it couldn't get all the product out, even...

From what I remember, Eric said the cupping is most likely a result of a combination of using too much product and too much heat.

I've been using Autosol for over 10 years and I couldn't be happier using it. I actually ran out a few years ago and I had trouble finding it but when I did I bought 3 tubes.

Would a 3M clear film be a longer-lasting solution after wetsanding and polishing? I'm saying this for our own personal cars.

I keep all my chemicals stored inside the house because the garage can get pretty hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's a pain in the ass to lug everything up from the basement to clean a car and back down when I'm done but I'd rather not take the chance.

After some sleuthing and speaking with Eric at Lake Country, it seems like LC has DA Foam pads with a cut-back black Velcro interface. My yellow, orange, white and black pads all have the same backing. I was confused because I didn't order HT pads, which have white Velcro (confirmed by Eric)...
