    LC Flat pad problem?

I washed 2 of my 5.5" Lake Country Flat Orange pads 2 days ago and left them to dry Velcro side up on a drying rack and I noticed today that one pad has slightly collapsed in the middle but the other has not. Is this normal? Here are a couple of pictures of the pad, if it helps: I did a...

I can't get the scratches out of my paint

I went back to Optimum Polish II on the Orange pad with Speed 5 on the GG6 and this time I slowed down my arm speed and added more pressure and it worked. I've just finished the hood and I got probably 70-80% correction; the swirls are gone as far as I can see but there are some RIDS remaining...

I can't get the scratches out of my paint

It seems like I'm having the same problem. :bash: I'm working Optimum Compound II with an Orange LC Flat Pad with my GG6. I've primed the pad by soaking it then wringing it until it's barely damp then spinning it for a few seconds with the GG6. I then put an X-pattern on the pad, spread it...

    2012 M37x

Great job, Richy. The M series is definitely the sleeper in Infiniti's lineup; I see a lot more Gs than Ms. And that colour was pretty much on every model in the Infiniti booth at the Toronto auto show this year, but the ones there had a lot of swirls. BTW, I tried Zep Citrus (cut 4:1) on my...

    Extreme makeover KIA Interior

The car looks amazing, especially when you compare to the before shots. It's a tough pill to swallow, but I think we've all done trashed interiors and no matter how good you are it will never be perfect. At the end of the day though, if your clients are happy with the work then you know you've...

    Detailer's 8 Gallon 2.5 HP Wet/Dry Auto Detailing Vacuum

Great review, Bobby. Thanks for posting it. :xyxthumbs: It's good to know there's a quiet option for good vacuums. I'm using the central vac in our house and while it works very well, it is deafening.

    SON1C Synopsis 4 - Chemical Guys - Window Clean

Just the other day I got paint on my hands that I cleaned off with paint thinner followed by regular hand soap. They felt really dry at first but then after a couple hours they were back to normal. I inherited my dad's hands; he was pretty rough with them but they were amazingly always baby-soft.

    SON1C Synopsis 4 - Chemical Guys - Window Clean

You're not the only one....my girlfriend has suggested I wear gloves more than once. The chemicals can be a bit harsh and getting the dirt out from around my nails is annoying but I can't stand sweaty gloves and when I'm washing the water gets in there anyway.

    window cleaning

I've been having good results with Stoner's Invisible Glass with one microfibre to clean and another to buff. I learned the technique from here, no less. I should mention that they're thin and not fluffy at all like regular microfibre. My mom bought them last year from a professional cleaning...
