    Testing Microfiber

And the debate continues.... I believe that post #3 is right on with the statement that it is a lot about "pressure" being a key point that is often overlooked by newer detailers. Don't get me wrong..if you get a cheap MF towel..you can not avoid damage...but I always use mine "damp" and as...

PBMG 2011 in Review - Win a Migliore Wax!

I have to say if I had to pick one thing..it would be Mike's book. Reason being that it puts everything in ONE quick reference point. I can go on about a lot of other things like others have (cust serv, new products, tech help, and staff) but to no one's surprise that knows AG...that has always...

    Difference between Metro Vacs?

my 2 cents..while the 8 hp may seem like overkill to some..consider this..you have the option to use 1 or both motors..(ie..for more delicate work vs full on water drying) and it uses warm air..which aids as well. For me..I read the reviews and ordered the Masterblaster because it will do my...

How to towel dry a car?

Bobby is dead on with the leaf blower..but I do it a little different. First, blow it with a leaf blower and then with the biggest waffle towel you have (I usually use two) just lay them "flat" on the roof, then hood, then deck..etc without rubbing them. This way it just blots any remaining...

    jo pa....fired!

Simply put...if it was Joe Paterno's son that was molested..then Joe Paterno himself would have complained that not enough was done and it should have been reported to Police. Shame on Joe..as he has kids/grandkids. Regardless of the relationship to his asst coach..if he would have stopped it...

    I pre-ordered the iPhone 4GS....

I heard the newest iphone is a slightly better version of the previous 4 phone. Its biggest "upgrade" is an 8 MG camera..and not much more. The one that is to have all the bells and wistles is either going to be released in the summer (June or so) or Jan of next year.

    Calling All Air Compressor Experts...

Mark, Maybe some other senior members can chime in here..but for blowing out my pads...I simply use a Metro Vac Sidekick...yes..it does blow hot air..but you are only using it in "spurts"..and it can double as a tool that can blow out water from engines/mirrors/wheels/windows etc.... It works...

    water spotting.

depending on how bad the water spots are...you can try in a "test" spot a vinegar and water mix. Some have used it full strength..but I would do a 50/50 mix and see what it does.
