SF4500 has less cut than SF4000. I wouldn't say one is superior to the other. They're both finishing polishes.

I use mother's foaming tire and wheel cleaner. It's non-acidic.

I would agree with the other replies and suggest you find a good detailer in your area to prep your new truck. Opticoat is something I would definitely want on a new vehicle.

I've used the wolfgang swirl remover and menzerna sf4500 both of which are good products. I don't think you can go wrong with anything from wolfgang or menzerna. The sf4500 will really bring out the gloss in the paint. I also have a dark blue truck.

3" pads and backing plate will work just fine on your DA.
