    Anybody have an A4 Quattro

AudiS6 Thank you for the incredibly detailed answer. I really appreciate your input and experience. Maybe I will hold out and start looking harder for an S4--I really like those anyway. Do you see the same type of issues in A6's and/or S6's? Thanks again, Alan Skorch630 As mentioned to...

Has your Flex ever done this...,

Thanks to all that have replied. I will take it apart tomorrow and try to see if swapping parts with my older Flex can isolate the problem. I just recently put new brushes in the older machine so I don't think it is brushes as there is 18 months difference between the two.

Worth $2000 to RACE DECK my shop?

I had a painted floor and debated long and hard about epoxy but I went with the RaceDeck and it is awesome. My garage is almost 1000 square feet and it was worth every penny. Better traction, less strain on legs and back and it looks fantastic. It is expensive but it seems to be high quality...

Do you have any knowledge if the newer models are less quirky? Like your car by the way. Thanks.

    Anybody have an A4 Quattro

Hello all, I'm thinking about buying a 2012 A4 Quattro Premier Plus with 48000 miles on it. Anybody on the forum have one? If so, have you had any issues with the car? I plan on doing a Google search for issues but I'd like to know about forum members first. Thanks, Alan OCD-tailing

Has your Flex ever done this...,

Yesterday I was applying an AIO with a white LC polishing pad when I stopped on a section pass. I had the speed locked on 4 with the trigger and when I hit the trigger to disengage the machine it kept running at a VERY low speed (under 1). I hit the trigger a few more times thinking it had just...

Flex 3401 vs 4inch backing plate system carnage

I had the exact thing happen on my first plate and AG replaced it at no charge ( I did have the 2 small washers in place). So far, so good on the replacement. Mine just seemed to break with no melting involved. Good luck.

Alan Does It Again - M6 Content!

Thanks Puckman!! It took me two years to get it all together but I definitely love it. The Race Deck floor is great on my knees and back and I have plenty of room to work. The screen door on tracks is FANTASTIC for Louisville summers to keep the bugs out. Thanks again, Alan OCD-tailing

Thanks for the reply and your fear is my fear exactly. Without really knowing what was done in the past it could get ugly quick.

    BMW M6 unidentified paint defect

All, I am currently working on 07 BMW M6 in Sapphire Black Metallic and the attached picture shows what appears to be a REALLY poor paint job on the deck lid. The paint has a 'texture' to it that seems to match the defect; however, it appears to be under the clear. Can anyone give me any ideas...

    Polishing wheels

Put a magnet on the wheels. If it doesn't stick then the wheels are aluminum. If it does stick, then they have a steel substrate with chrome plating.
