    Favorite Meguiars Canuba Wax

I've had terrible luck with Meguiar's Ultimate Wax and NXT 2.0. I've only gotten MAYBE a month or so of durability out of both. The only Meguiar's wax I really like at all is their Gold Class Carnauba Wax. But it doesn't provide much better durability, just better looks IMO. Meguiar's #26 is...

2 problems today with a detail

I've always had good results with Meguiar's clay bar. But for heavier stuff I prefer Griot's (yellow) clay. Its a lot stickier so kind of a pain to work with but it does a fantastic job getting really heavy contamination off

    Best tire shine

Opti-bond has been my favorite for a long time but BlackFire Total Eclipse Gel has taken a quick second maybe even tie for first! I like the initial look of BlackFire better then Opti-bond. But after a couple days of driving (with and without rain) I like the look of Opti-bond better :)

cleaning and protecting plastic wheel covers?

One of my friends just bought a brand new Ram and when we found out his wheels were made of plastic we were shocked. You would never think that just my looking at them though! That's a fairly mild wheel cleaner. If you wanted. You could always use a slightly stronger wheel cleaner for the...

    NANOSKIN Autoscrub

Hmmm I've only used it once on my own car. The only thing I can think of is I didn't use enough lubrication but I though I a LOT. I used 3/4 of the bottle that came with it for my Corolla :(

Hey all you frequent waxers I have a "?"

I really enjoy hand applying my ever growing wax collection but I strip my LSP and start fresh every 3 or so applications OR if I want to see a new wax's durability, looks, application etc. by its self.

Removing swirls left speckles or pinholes?

Just to throw out a different point of view. I've seen these little pits or speckles a lot of times after polishing in areas of the car that it would be hard to believe that rocks or anything would effect. To me it looks like the paint has pores if that makes sense. IDK the cause of this but is...

    Gasoline removal from carpet????

As far as cleaning I would just use Folex and/or APC. For smell I would use CarPro So2Pure Air Purifying Coating 120 ml. or Dakota Odor Bomb - Car odor bombs for smoke odor removal, pet odor removal and more for a clean, refreshing scent!

    Rain or shine?

As long as A) the customer has a garage and B) its not downpouring, I can still detail. But if not I just have to reschedule. It can be a real pain sometimes but this isn't my full time job so I don't have to worry about how I'm going to pay this months bills if I have to cancel or reschedule a...

Tips & Tricks: How to remove dried bug spatter or bug guts

Great advice Mike! Pre-soaking bugs with something like Ultima Waterless Wash + prior to washing also helps to remove bugs if someone doesn't want to use a dedicated bug/tar remover that will probably strip an LSP
