Doing a first time detail on a new Ford Flex...

I am no pro. but I did used to detail for a stealership here locally. I can tell you for a fact, that just because a car is new, doesn't mean it's clean, or imperfection free. I ALWAYS clayed the new cars when I did my P.D.I. on them. Most detailers didn't, but I had the time because it was a...

Presidential Detailed: Blackwood, SN95 COBRA and MORE!

All 3 look really good. Nice work (even on the Cobra that wasn't up to your standards). That one is the owners fault there, not on you.

    chip repair in progress

Sounds like a good process. I would be interested to see if this will work for my vehicles. ( I like to follow people too closely sometimes, and my truck has a LOT of chips on the hood). Thanks for the write up.

What is the worst way you have seen a car cleaned?

Unfortunately, we are the odd ones. I have found that very few people actually care about their cars. This still baffles me, because our cars are more than likely our 2nd. largest purchase/investment, behind our homes, and people just treat them like crap. Then again, there are a LOT of people...

    Tire pressure question

You should almost always set the tire pressure to the vehicle specifications ( if they are the factory tire, or factory replacements). The car was designed to perform at it's optimum level with the factory tires, at the specified pressures. If you have a different brand or type of tire than...

    powdercoated care

As far as I have heard, you take the same care with a powder coat, as you would with paint. Powder coat is just more hearty.

    can I mow your lawn?

Sweeeeeeet!!!! Do you race them, or is this just for fun? I knew a kid in High School that put a 750cc kawasaki motorcycle engine on a lawnmower. Talk about scary.

Sounds like a great way to get your name out there, reach several clients at one time, and hope for some repeat business. Good thinking on your part, and best of luck to you that you will receive some full details out of the job.

    Winter Storage

I have made the mistake of ruining several products b/c I left them in the garage once, and they froze. They never worked the same afterwards. :( Hopefully yours will be fine.
