You should almost always set the tire pressure to the vehicle specifications ( if they are the factory tire, or factory replacements). The car was designed to perform at it's optimum level with the factory tires, at the specified pressures. If you have a different brand or type of tire than...

As far as I have heard, you take the same care with a powder coat, as you would with paint. Powder coat is just more hearty.

Yep, I have done this to my Grand Prix before, and it came out very nice. Just follow what MrGolfrider said.

I have made the mistake of ruining several products b/c I left them in the garage once, and they froze. They never worked the same afterwards. :( Hopefully yours will be fine.
