    Headlight Restoration-new UV sealant idea

I say permanent to differentiate it from a sealant that needs to be re-applied like a paint sealant. As far as being sandable, yes it is but the good thing about it is you can wipe it off if you made a mistake as long as your not exposing it to UV it doesn't harden.

    Headlight Restoration-new UV sealant idea

I've been researching to find the best headlight sealant and one of the people I talked to pointed this out. As he was giving me his sales pitch, he also pointed out that what he uses is permanent but is cured by UV exposure making it different than any other coating. He swears by it being...

Tips for using the Flex 3401

Try switching hands. I use both hands but I switch back and forth which one is leading, partly to reduce fatigue but also to gain leverage (and better control) on vertical surfaces depending on my stance.

Interesting and Perhaps Lucky Find .... Walmart

I still haven't learned to keep my mouth shut. Not trying to cause a stir. :o It's none of my business and if it doesn't bother them, it shouldn't bother me.

Interesting and Perhaps Lucky Find .... Walmart

I'm reading this thread from the perspective of a former store owner so I see it differently than most of you guys do. When I read it I can't help but feel like it is somehow wrong to be talking about going to Walmart to buy a wax that competes against their Fuzion and Souveran (among others)...

May want to step up to a more powerful DA

I love my FLEX machine. What I usually recommend is to stick with the PC if it's just for your cars. If you polish often then step up to the FLEX because it will save you time. JMO, but I don't consider the cyclo a step up from the PC.

    Thoughts on website

I just redid my site recently too. I opted away from any flash. I've seen some really nice detailing sites with flash but the load time is a bad trade off to me. I would go with a fairly simple design that makes a good impression without getting too flashy. JMHO. Concentrate on your wording...

Deep Gloss Auto Salon: Avalanche Resurrection

I can't tell much difference. :o Just kidding. :dblthumb2: Why car companies think all that plastic trim is a good thing is beyond me.
