Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

^^Agreed, I'd never heard of them either. Seems like a useful tool, and will help keep rims clean after wheel weight changes.

Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

I don't really need a ton of product for this, so, I'll get the smallest size I can find. Thanks for all the tips and products. I'll get them all cleaned up, and hopefully, they'll find a new home, soon. :)

Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

Thanks Paul...looks like 3M may be the winner, here. There are no tires on the rims, so, I'm pretty sure once they are picked up by someone, they'll need new weights anyway, so, I won't worry about the ones that are on there. ;) Appreciate all the insight...from pro's, non-pro's, alike. :)

Mercedes S500. Detailing and ceramic coating.

Nice job overall. Looks awesome...very detailed work (no pun intended). :) I wish the owner went with some different tires, on that car. The GY Eagle LS2's are some of the worst tires I've driven on. For some, they may be OK, but, generally, they are just not very capable...and this is...

Question for the Pro's, RE: Inner wheel cleaning/glue removal...?

Hey all, I have a quick question. I searched a bunch, but, couldn't find an answer. I have a set of rims that came off my old car. The rims are a couple of years old, and in pretty darn good shape on the 'face' of the rim. It's the 'inside' that I want to figure out how to clean. Since the...

Try this, though, I can't say I've ever used it...but, from the reviews, sounds like a solid product to try. https://www.autogeek.net/poorboys-bug-squash.html

(https://autogeek.commerce-search.net/search?catalog=autogeek&submit=Go&_autodone=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.autogeek.net%2F&keywords=bug+and+tar+remover) so, check some of those out. I'm sure the...

Got a small kit in the mail...

Nice, thanks for the info. Once the PB's solution is done and gone, I'll look into the other one's you mentioned. I wash my towels about once a week, as well...I almost always use one daily with WG ID spray, to keep the bugs off the front of the car. So many sacrifice themselves... :laughing...

Got a small kit in the mail...

Haha, on the contrary Mike. I ordered a wolfgang kit with pads prior, so, this is the follow up kit...hehe. My wife never quite understands why I spend so much time in the garage at night...but she does know about my car addiction. Al, Thanks, any good tips for using it? I read...

Got a small kit in the mail...

Definitely not a pro, like a bunch of you pro detailers, but, just wanted to try some things out...since I've never used them before. And with the BF sale, it made it even more cost effective. As for the little pads, I'm sure they will work well enough for my DD pillars, and smaller areas...

Gotcha. Well, after researching all 3 products, WG TSR, FG, and Sealant, I purchased the kit which worked out really well for me...especially as a beginner with a porter cable. I'd been using a different buffer for a long time, but, was not getting the results I wanted, so, I purchased the PC...
