Also, any tips on getting close to the trim/tape line. About half an inch away from the trim I can still see swirls but past that the finish is swirl free. How do you get close to the trim line without pulling of the tape?

I agree, just shake it and it should turn from a liquid into a creamy consistency.

I'd go with the sharpie approach. I had some scratches in the interior of my truck on textured surface like yours and this forum couldn't come up with a solution besides sharpie.

I have yet to try a rinse less wash but would love to try one! Especially detailers plus as I love their other products! My favorite product currently is Wolfgang sealant 3.0. The deep gloss it provides is .... DEEP!
